WHO Bulletin: Is the current public health message on UV exposure correct?

scielosp.org — The World Health Organization took another look at public health policy recommendations for Sunlight and tanning bed exposure to UV light. Moderate exposure to UVR has an important role in human health, primarily through UV-induced production of vitamin D, a hormone essential to bone health. WHO called for a reevaluation of public health policy.
