- VCubed, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1Too few people know suicide is an epidemic. In 2005 alone, there were over 32,000 suicides in the U.S., primarily elderly, lots of youth too (6th highest cause of death) - compared to how many have died in Iraq in years of occupation. White males are most likely to commit suicide, and the weapon of choice is guns. This issue needs attention all around, if veterans bring it to the forefront, then let's get it started - about time!
