Veterans Suicide Rates Questioned

abcnews.go.com — Lawmakers are questioning whether the Department of Veterans Affairs has been accurately reporting the number of veterans who commit suicide or if it's covering up the data.

In 2005 alone, there were over 32,000 suicides in the U.S., primarily elderly, lots of youth too (6th highest cause of death) - compared to how many have died in Iraq in years of occupation. White males are most likely to commit suicide, and the weapon of choice is guns. This issue needs attention all around, if veterans bring it to the forefront, then let's get it started - about time!
