There have been times where I can go for an hour, so I would think that it would be aerobic. However, my arms felt and looked bigger from having to extend and hold my elbows out for extended periods of time, so that would be more like weight lifting. Though either way, I felt sleepy afterwards so I probably didn't improve my intelligence...much.
