UMD announces breakthrough with SARS Vaccine; Holds the Key for Bird Flu
physorg.com — A team of scientists from Univ. of MD in collaboration with NIH have successfully developed and tested a SARS vaccine from poultry virus. The team includes research lead Prof.Siba Samal, Subrat Rout, Govindarajan and E.Subbiah. The scientists believe that the same virus holds the key to combating the dreaded Bird Flu virus, H5N1.
