- smcavoy, on 02/12/2009, -1/+49Jesus man! You don't look for acid! Acid finds you when *it* thinks you're ready.
- Hunter S. Thompson - mikbunn, on 02/12/2009, -3/+48Drano is really ***** dangerous. Imagine if someone puts it in your coffee or splashes it on your skin.
Gasoline is really ***** dangerous. Imagine if someone burns your house down while you sleep.
Telephones are really dangerous. Imagine if Russell Crowe hits you in the head with one.
Lots of things are dangerous. - joeboy70, on 02/11/2009, -3/+43Music was a lot better when lsd was the drug of choice for rock stars. Maybe they should try controlled experiments with the likes of Coldplay until they come up with something decent or interesting ;)
- inactive, on 02/12/2009, -3/+31Cars are really ***** dangerous. One second your walking down the street, the next you're on someone's windshield and you'll never walk straight again. Outlaw cars also?
- ethicalhacker, on 02/11/2009, -3/+30LSD is not X
- OneRottenTomato, on 02/12/2009, -1/+28One time a friend almost gave me a lift in his car. He said, "Come on, man. It's so much easier than walking. It'll be fun." It felt kinda... wrong, you know, because a lot of people die from car rides.
The government told me bicycles are the gateway vehicle to driving cars. *****' hippies and their cars. They are a threat to me and my kids. It should be banned. God gave you legs for a reason. Walk. - BrettFromTibet, on 02/12/2009, -4/+30It's not a dangerous drug... it's a healthy spiritual and intellectual catalyst.
- mikbunn, on 02/12/2009, -3/+27I AGREE VERY PURPLE.
- davebg8r, on 02/12/2009, -1/+25And how does it's class schedule or even its legality have any any impact on if someone does that to someone else or not?
- richgustavson, on 02/12/2009, -4/+27Lucy in the skyyyyyy with diamonds
- djbon2112, on 02/12/2009, -2/+24The following drugs should be legalized. None are addictive and none (alone) kill anyone. Enough *****.
Marijuana
LSD
Mescaline
Plycobin Mushrooms
MDMA - leonidas333, on 02/12/2009, -0/+19Man the Drug council wants to downgrade everything.
Just the other week they said Ecstasy was safer then riding a horse- I dont disagrees but what a weird analogy. - leif777, on 02/12/2009, -0/+15Made famous by the Beatles?... what about Timothy Leary?
- oninbonin, on 02/12/2009, -0/+15A horse?

You will see that Dr. Nutt is a profoundly great man and thinker. - Tarsmus, on 02/12/2009, -3/+17Have you heard of the Holocaust? A lot of Nazi's liked it. You know, people who aren't uptight ***** who think their moral preferences are superior.
- scratend0788, on 02/12/2009, -0/+13"I think it is time to have a complete review of all the drug laws. And I would like to have that in the UK."
its overdue, but needs to get done.
we need to base laws on empirical data rather than fear mongering and the lingereing beliefs based in propaganda.
although given the ***** we are seeing in britain now a days i would suspect more weight will be placed on the later. - Beautyon, on 02/12/2009, -1/+14Why should it be under 'VERY CONTROLLED use in therapeutic settings'? If it is true for LSD, it should be true for everything, including cheeseburgers. Too many cheeseburgers leads to obesity, ill health and death. Why should the almighty state, which you thing should control 'drugs' not control cheeseburgers, or for that matter, everything else you can eat?
The fact of the matter is if you accept that the state can tell you what you can or cannot ingest, then you become the property of the state. Period.
Your body belongs to you, and you have the right to ingest whatever you like. This is non negotiable. - inactive, on 02/12/2009, -1/+13This depends on a lot of things.. no more or less dangerous than some people's normal lives
- vinceislegend, on 02/12/2009, -0/+12You're not helping your cause, crazy person.
- zbeast, on 02/12/2009, -2/+13drug laws don't stop anyone from getting drugs all it does is put people in jail.
with that said I like LSD, but for the average person I still would not recommend it.
You need to be aware that for the next 12 hours. You'll not be able do get anything
constructive done.
I'm all for totally downgrading E and pot they are wonderful fun as safe compounds. - inactive, on 02/12/2009, -2/+13The Gov't should never be in the business of involuntary protection, especially when you really can't describe what the "protection" is or what it is for.
- joeboy70, on 02/12/2009, -0/+11or the CIA.
- BenderFlexo, on 02/12/2009, -0/+10I dunno about that. It's different than fungus. Most shrooms are not going to give the visuals that a good dose will. I like both, but the feeling that shrooms give me is that I am one with the Earth, while acid makes me feel excited that the world is so ***** weird. There are different reasons to take each (usually the main one is which is available though).
- Arjin, on 02/12/2009, -2/+11Well, it all depends on the concentration.
Not all doses of LSD majorly ***** you up. - OneRottenTomato, on 02/12/2009, -2/+11@dogfatherx
"You can't compare cars to LSD. Get real."
Ah, the classic excuse of a driver. You must drive a lot, right? Every day? Sad.
You know, my friend drove everyday single day. He just would not stop. He'd even drive to work! Driving must give you the munchies because he drove to the grocery store, a lot.
Driving would make him a totally different person. As a trusting friend I would try hiding his keys without him knowing and that would send him into a rage. And you know why? All because of his driving addiction.
Then with his addiction came money problems. Just last week he asked if he could borrow a five and I asked him why. He said to FILL UP HIS TANK and that he would pay me back. He did pay me. Yesterday.
He said he can't wait for his six year old to turn sixteen so that he can teach her how to drive. My friend has a serious problem.
Dude, you cannot ignore this problem. Cars are everywhere. On our streets. Parked at our schools. Our religious and political figures even admit to using them one time or another. You can live in a LA LA land all you want, but you can never convince me to drive. Driving is for losers.
Don't do bikes! - Ganja360, on 02/12/2009, -1/+10New Digg cause: legalize LSD.
- TBombadil, on 02/12/2009, -2/+11BEST DRUG.
- inactive, on 02/12/2009, -3/+12Obviously you don't consider listening to pink floyd while using nerf darts to defeat the hedgehog army that lives in your yard "getting anything done".
- joeboy70, on 02/11/2009, -1/+9that's how the Beatles were introduced to it - a dentist friend put it in John and George's coffee without telling them.
- rubored, on 02/12/2009, -0/+8Seconded...
- dazparkour, on 02/12/2009, -3/+11Just a drop on the skin won't send you into space. Myth Debunked.
- vinceislegend, on 02/12/2009, -1/+9You're having a bad trip, Dewey Cox.
- JustFender, on 02/12/2009, -1/+9This seems to happen every few months. Scientists/Adviser says legalise or downgrade a drug...government does ***** all...puts up more cameras...people carry on taking drug
- empath, on 02/12/2009, -2/+10LSD and ecstasy should not only be legal, but should be covered by health insurance, like say one LSD trip per year and, E 6 times a year.
- cJw314, on 02/12/2009, -0/+8"In one case, volunteers were given LSD for 77 consecutive days."
0.O - loudog1104, on 02/12/2009, -4/+12I thought it was accepted fact that Coldplay sucks.
- qwikk, on 02/12/2009, -1/+8psilocybin ;)
also there's many more to add to that list, but it's a good start. - onelikeseabass, on 02/12/2009, -0/+7Same thing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IaPtrmGCHA - jarh1000, on 02/12/2009, -2/+9ive never done acid but i do object to it being the same class as weed, if they dowgrade acid fair enough, but if acid is class b weed should be class D
- jakash, on 02/12/2009, -1/+8Professor Nutt...lol
- cycleplus, on 02/12/2009, -1/+7just go to a rave
- MattB123, on 02/12/2009, -1/+7Yeah, it's WAY better!
- xenuxenuts, on 02/12/2009, -1/+7True. Only an ***** would give someone acid without their knowledge. But I wouldn't call that a reason to keep it illegal.
- honeymustardn, on 02/12/2009, -5/+11Bad trips aren't dangerous?
- feignNU, on 02/12/2009, -1/+7I would say actually that it IS dangerous, but not necessarily in a bad sense. LSD is dangerous like a power saw is dangerous. It takes skill and care to operate a power saw just like it takes skill and care to use LSD. But just like a power saw, when it is utilized properly, the benefits of LSD can be enormous.
In an ideal world, LSD would be legally available to anyone who wanted to learn how to use it. Those people could visit clinics where they could be administered LSD in a supportive, therapeutic environment, and after enough experience, they could obtain a license which would allow them to legally use LSD outside of those clinics. Criminalization only encourages misinformation and misuse of the drug, and this is where ALL of the danger associated with its use comes from. - Pooley, on 02/12/2009, -1/+7The UK government will ignore this, just as it did with a similar recommendation for ecstasy.
Whilst LSD use is considerably lower than E use, leaving it as a class A drug is dangerous because it gives the message to a person taking E or LSD that they are on a par with cocaine and heroin - ergo, if you take an E or two each week, you're running the same risk as you would be by starting up a coke or bloody smack habit - and that's VERY CLEARLY the wrong message to be sending to anyone.
The government are more scared about losing votes to the wavering right than they are about sending out sensible signals about drug use.
It's pathetic. -
