- x0rcist, on 10/31/2008, -0/+27Dugg for reminding me to set my clock back.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -0/+23Sleep is essential, I love when we fall back...can't stand the spring forward
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -0/+22Ahh Lucy...Always looking out for my health!
- deadcoyote, on 10/31/2008, -0/+18Being in college, this doesn't mean *****.
- BeShirtHappy, on 10/30/2008, -1/+18This is interesting. I am so looking forward to an extra hour of sleep!
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+15Am I the only person that only can fall asleep when I'm actually sleepy? The time does not matter to my body. Everyone I know is able to lie down, and fall asleep in no time, no matter what time it is, or how much sleep they've had. I don't even go near the bed until I feel my eyes get heavy, or else I toss and turn forever. I can't be the only one like this.
- doublefelix, on 10/31/2008, -0/+14I might have saved my life this morning when I hit the snooze button 6 times.
- spyd3rweb, on 10/31/2008, -1/+14When are we going to stop this clock changing nonsense. The sun doesn't need to be rising at 6AM and setting at 4PM.
- tomarocco, on 10/31/2008, -0/+8I wish we could turn it back 8 years.
- darkciti2, on 10/30/2008, -2/+8Screw sleep. It's Saturday night Halloween weekend.
I'm going to be partying for an extra hour. - CannedMango, on 10/31/2008, -1/+7So what happens when you move the clock forward?
Way more heart attacks! - suprememilo, on 10/31/2008, -1/+6Thank god its soon I need an extra hour for HW.
- splorpdotorg, on 10/31/2008, -0/+5I don't want to live through Bush, again.
- mrNesbitt, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4Here here. It's nothing but a twice-yearly pain in the ass with no benefits. People want more sleep? Go to bed earlier.
- d33213, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3***** It. This year..I am going to set my clock back TWO hours. Screw You Time Change!!!
- darkciti2, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3I wish we could push it forward 5 days.
This is the longest week ever! - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3???
Where am I? - FTLJohnson, on 10/31/2008, -1/+4You have to train your body to be on a schedule. Most people are trained to go to bed at a certain time, and wake up at a certain time. I'm like you though, I've spent a lot of time in the untrained zone, and I HATE alarm clocks... There's one I really want that doesn't use noise, but a gradually increasing light (like a sunrise) which heats up scented oils. It's been found that strong smells are one of the best ways to wake people up to a state of full alertness. Alarm buzzers make me MUCH more tired in the morning.
- aethelberga, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3I heard this on the news this morning. They also said, however, that the 'spring forward' causes a rise in the number of heart attacks.
Dump Daylight Savings Time. - darkfate, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2Maybe going out drinking till 3am on a Thursday night might not be the BEST idea, but it sure is the AWESOMEST!
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2i wish this would be the last time we change our time. i like longer hours like it was hundred years ago.
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2Dugg for Lucy!
- TheMachine1, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2Might just set it forward and end it all.
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2Just one more reason to abolish this ridiculous switching of the clocks.
- viserov, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2?
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -1/+3every story same stupid comments.
- duggdowncatisad, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2Given the health benefits of setting the clocks back an hour, I think we should do it every weekend.
- sockpuppets, on 10/31/2008, -3/+5Ass.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 10/31/2008, -1/+3I have no idea why you think getting an extra hour of sleep equals getting less.
Oh, and the real purpose? Buisnesses get more work done outside. You can't work on a building with it's already dark. Without DST it'd be dark before 4. It's about the economy.
Oh, and making people shop more helps the economy too. - BeShirtHappy, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2For most of my life that is the way I was... had to be sleepy to fall asleep. However, since I had my son (who is 5), I fall asleep much easier/quicker now.
- LowFuel, on 10/31/2008, -0/+1My god, there's someone who uses it...
- ifknot, on 10/31/2008, -1/+2...
- scoottie, on 10/31/2008, -0/+1it also helps reduce your stress levels since it will make you lose your job .... lol
- Akairenn, on 10/31/2008, -2/+3I'll vote for Obama if he promises to do away with the daylight savings farce.
- CaptObvious, on 10/31/2008, -0/+1If I keep getting one more hour of sleep a night eventually I'll be sleeping all day!
- endgame, on 10/31/2008, -0/+1Drink some Chamomile tea and get more sleep...
- Pandalume, on 10/31/2008, -1/+2Sweet, now my kids will wake me up at 5 instead of 6. Extra hour of sleep my ass!
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 10/31/2008, -1/+2You're that old?
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -1/+2I won't be getting an extra hour of sleep. I'll be staying up an hour longer playing WoW.
- DrummerAndrew, on 10/31/2008, -0/+1Why don't we just push it back a half hour and call this ***** over with? I appreciate the DST, but it would be better to get the benefit all year long without clock changes. Or just keep DST. Nobody likes standard time.
- darkciti2, on 10/31/2008, -0/+1Swatch watch internet time, FTL !
- msflower97, on 10/31/2008, -0/+1IIRC, when I lived in NJ it was when DST was NOT in effect that the sun set at around 4:30 PM. I hate mornings so I never kept track of sunrises :-)
- Coreyc150, on 10/31/2008, -1/+1the reason everyone gets depressed in winter isnt the cold, it isnt the snow, its the darkness. This is gaaaayyyy
- edgarreyes, on 10/31/2008, -5/+5every year same stupid stories.
- aari13, on 10/31/2008, -0/+0Jesus christ, one day its more than 7 hrs causes heart disease, then more sleep prevents heart attack!! WTF?!!?? I wish all these statistics would make up their damn mind!!
Hell i get 6 hrs, cause thats all my body will stand. - Skooma714, on 10/31/2008, -1/+1***** DST. Government nonsense and paternalism for the lose.
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -1/+1I got WaitMate, so I don't need this shiiiiiit.
- coreyb, on 10/31/2008, -2/+2Yo' mama tells stupid stories...
