- columb, on 03/24/2008, -4/+3I love KFC.
- chrissku, on 03/24/2008, -1/+4You can make any restaurant experience as healthy or unhealthy as you want it to be. That why they hand you menu...so you can pick what you eat.
- dexim, on 03/24/2008, -1/+1Plus you also don't have to eat everything they bring you. Portion control is very important. most foods are healthy in the right portions. Restaurants usually serve way too much food. People need to learn portion control.
- mcse2k3, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1That's not true in all cases. I don't care how hard you try, your not going to find a completely healthy MEAL at McDonalds or Burger King (or similar fast food chains).
- dexim, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1I agree, that's why I said "most foods" not "all foods".
- cbergstrom, on 03/24/2008, -3/+5How is Subway not on this list?
- ElAssoWipo, on 03/24/2008, -1/+7Chips, bread, meat, cheese, mayonnaise.
Subway is only healthy without these. Ask them which part of the turkey is in the sliced turkey. The answer is all of it.- frmatc, on 03/24/2008, -0/+2Don't forget the HFCS in the bread.
- donte, on 03/24/2008, -1/+3Because nobody gets the "7g of fat" sandwiches in a 7g of fat form. Most people will throw on other crap which make it quite unhealthy for you, a larger serving than you need and then you rationalize that "healthy" sandwich as a reason to get the Fritos and/or a chocolate chip cookie. Wash it down with a large Mt Dew and you you're the proud new owner of a large gut. That's why it's not on the list. Don't forget that if you stray from that "healthy" list of sandwiches, their standard sandwiches are almost as bad for you as any other fast food place.
- Ganja420, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Do you think Jared would of lost 300 pounds for 10 years if he ate at Uno's every day
- ElAssoWipo, on 03/24/2008, -1/+7Chips, bread, meat, cheese, mayonnaise.
- karlyguy, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1they forgot to include Mondragon.
- nachochease, on 03/24/2008, -2/+10How the hell does this msnbc crap keep making the front page?!! This is nothing but a free commercial.
- hpvforum, on 03/24/2008, -1/+9Dennys? If you aren't a) high b) drunk or c) redneck WTF are you doing eating at Dennys?
- Ninnux, on 03/24/2008, -4/+4Work out regularly, and what you eat is rarely an issue.
- Duositex, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Agreed. Exercise > Diet
- annflower, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1You Are What You Eat
- lordsandwich, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Moo.
- worthone, on 03/24/2008, -1/+7By the way, healthy is synonymous with not-as-good-as-this-steak.
- SpaceBass, on 03/24/2008, -0/+6#1 is Uno Pizza? Maybe in Bizarro wold!
- beatleman, on 03/24/2008, -0/+6This sort of thing is so subjective it all comes down to who you choose to believe. The burritos from Chipotle were considered one of the "Top 20 Worst Foods" by Men's Health in an article I read on Digg just a few weeks ago. Quote from that article: "Despite a reputation for using healthy, fresh ingredients, Chipotle's menu is limited to king-size burritos, overstuffed tacos, and gigantic salads—all of which lead to a humongous waistline."
I think when it comes down to it, any place can be healthy if you make the right choices. I think the guy in the first post was joking, but even KFC can be considered "healthy" now that they're coming out with their grilled chicken... - Ganja420, on 03/24/2008, -0/+13Uno's Chicago Grill http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21838237/?pg=17#TDY_20 ...
Ruby Tuesday's http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21838237/?pg=5#TDY_20W ...
P.F. Chang's http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21838237/?pg=14#TDY_20 ...
Alot of these restaurants were on the Top 20 Unhealthiest Foods in America.- libertao, on 03/24/2008, -0/+2Foods != Restaurants
- Seventus, on 03/24/2008, -1/+13Uno, P.F. Chang's, and even Chipotle were just found to have unhealthy items by another magazine (Men's Health?). Buried for study contradictions.
- hokie47, on 03/24/2008, -0/+27Is it just me or does this page look messed up in Firefox?
- rossnyc, on 03/24/2008, -4/+3Firefox is for fat people.
- dexim, on 03/24/2008, -0/+4Restaurants act like all they have to do is offer "low fat" or "lite" menu items. my daughter is a type 1 (insulin dependent) diabetic. I wish restaurants were more forthcoming with carbohydrates. And I know I'm not the only one.
- nenee, on 03/24/2008, -0/+246 diggs and on front page!
Nd Msnbc must start posting full lists on one page! - laughandsing, on 03/24/2008, -0/+4mmmm.... Panera Bread... definitely yummy!
- DiggOrNotToDigg, on 03/24/2008, -2/+2They forgot McDonalds *sarcasm*
- Ganja420, on 03/24/2008, -0/+4#2 Panera
"Look to Panera’s soups for low-calorie and low-sodium options. Fresh fruit cups and apples make for healthy sides."
Panera is a BAKERY and they tell you to eat the soups and fruit... they make no mention of the bread. - weaselman78, on 03/24/2008, -1/+0I'm surprised Americans haven't been duped enough yet to believe that McDonalds is the healthiest restaurant.
It's also sad that people think healthy foods are foods that have the least amount of calories and carbs. - Dralite, on 03/24/2008, -1/+2I live in Gerogia... and 2... maybe 3 of these places are here... most of them I have never heard of... I'll make my own tofu
- daxsymbiont, on 03/24/2008, -1/+70. YOUR KITCHEN.
- TimDigg, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1how can they forget chop't salads
http://www.choptsalad.com/indexflash.htm- TimDigg, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1you would think a place that makes nothing but salads would be on the list....
- itsthebrod, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1They only listed national chains and I've never, ever heard of "Chopt Salad."
- beatleman, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1I think the reason they can forget it is because it looks like Chop't Salad is only in New York City and Washington D.C. My guess is they wanted to pick more widespread restaurants so more people would read the article... Looks interesting, though...
- TimDigg, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1you would think a place that makes nothing but salads would be on the list....
- godseyeview, on 03/24/2008, -0/+4fix the tables on that webpage?
- studlystevie, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Ruby Tuesday Bell Turkey Burger, 1,145 calories, 71g of fat and 56g of carbs
Macaroni Grill Double Macaroni 'n' cheese 1,210 calories, 62g of fat and 3,450mg of sodium. Can you taste the health. - ryan899, on 03/24/2008, -1/+2Chipotle FTW! (Just eat half your burrito and eat the other half later)
- mickmel, on 03/24/2008, -0/+2I'm amazed how many companies don't supply nutritional information AT ALL. Big ones like Outback and Cracker Barrel, and a bunch of others:

Are they scared of what the numbers might be? - k00k, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1How about just staying away from chains and eating at local privately owned eateries? I'm sure everyone (in blue states anyway) has some decent food outside of chain crap.
- springboks, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Buried, this website is *****. I can't even navigate! Besides there is no such thing as a "healthy restaurant"
- Duositex, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Buried for being totally ridiculous.
- itsthebrod, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Olive Garden? Really? Alfredo sauce is nothing but cheese and heavy cream. I figured the "top 15 healthiest restaurants" would list the restaurants who have health as an overall concern. It appears they just listed places that have at least 1 or 2 items on their "healthy choices" menu. Don't virtually all places have healthier sections of their menu nowadays?
