- novaculus, on 07/04/2008, -2/+4Given that vegans/vegetarians are major tofu consumers, and are heavily overrepresented in the liberal population, we must ask: Does tofu eating contribute to liberal dementia?
- Stevanoski, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5Ah man, one of my favorite light lunches: Dry tofu overnight in tightly twisted, doubled, dish towel.
Cube, fry until amber brown in peanut oil with fresh pressed garlic added for the last few minutes. Take off burner, add 1/2 tsp of sesame oil, salt and pepper, and few drops of pepper oil.
Serve over rice that has 1 tbl of Hosin Sauce added, garnished with minced fresh green onions and cilantro. Add soy sauce to taste. Sometimes add oyster sauce or duck sauce (small kids like this one best).
Uh oh, my friends on the Left are going to say this contributes to my Conservative stances. - Masternajee, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6Yeah you eat Tofu long enough and you will forget what real food tastes like.
- GlassAgate, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2That's pretty damned funny.
- JrtD, on 07/06/2008, -0/+1Maybe the problem isn't the soy but an absence of essential nutrients from meat. Most meat eaters don't go out of their way to eat soy products because soy is not near as tasty as beef. I'd like to know if the researchers compared soy-eating vegetarians against those who ate both meat and tofu.
