- Bdog2g2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I agree to some extent, in that its people utimately responsible for the actions and they shouldn't be compensated knowing smoking, chewing, or snorting tobacco is bad.
- HarryBauzonia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So what do you think will kill the rest of us?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its amazing that the Food and Drug Administration will ban medicines because they have not been adequately tested for human safety, and yet a known killer of millions continues to be made available without much interference.
- mdoom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1..wait..tobacco is bad for you?
- KyleRayner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I dont think there is anything wrong with enjoying anything in moderation. Smoking twenty cigarettes a day, one pack, is harmful to the body. So is eating twenty hamburgers, drinking twenty beers, etc. The key is not to be excessive to the point of doing permanent damage to the body.
- KyleRayner, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Title is a bit misleading. Tobacco is not the killer here, its tobacco abuse. Imagine how many people eating will kill this year, using the logic in this story.
- JohnnyNova, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wow, scary ... and coming from such a reliable source! Public Health officials? I'm impressed!
