If Obama had an ounce of integrity he would stop this farce. (que the crickets) - badwithcomputer, on 04/24/2009, -0/+8an ounce of weed might also do the trick
- Sielencer, on 04/25/2009, -2/+7Lets not make this a board about how bad of president Obama is, but this is the way it is today, you can't do anything today without some kind of reprocussion.
(BTW I did not vote for Obama) - ieatpizza, on 04/25/2009, -3/+7poor guy, obama should pardon him
actually obama's probably chuckling his presidency away and saying that lynch is a member of the online community - seduirai, on 04/24/2009, -3/+7I voted for Obama, but I totally see him as being a one term president. He was the lesser of two evils at the time I guess.
- angeladtao, on 04/25/2009, -0/+2The real crime here is the prosecution in the first place. I see this case, with its failure of federal officials at all levels all the way up to the president, as a continuation of the disconnect between our federal government and the people it is supposed to serve. Is this government serving Mr. Lynch? Hardly, it is Mr. Lynch who will be doing the serving unless we are successful in making enough of an outcry. God bless him and our efforts to help him!
- jboitnott, on 04/25/2009, -1/+3Who's going to take the presidency away from him? Palin? Meghan McCain? Uhm no.

Here is contact information for the judge's courtroom. Why not send him a letter requesting a pardon or a "time served" sentence? Be polite.

- vault, on 04/25/2009, -3/+4I didn't vote for him, but yes I agree he'll be a one-term president. This particular story, sad as it is, has nothing to do with that, though. Marijuana will become legal eventually, but NORML and the like have a long way to go towards changing public opinion http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/03/19/politics/p ...
I'm all in favor of legalization for the sake of personal freedom, however if you look at that link most of America disagrees. That means politicians face enormous stigma when they vote on whatever bills get proposed about it, and that's why Obama is not going to be the president that sees it legalized on his watch. - ThatsNotPudding, on 04/24/2009, -6/+5Change you can believe in?
