- TheBigSquid, on 03/27/2009, -3/+62How often do you go out in drag?
- tecratour, on 03/27/2009, -0/+28Wow, did anybody else realize all these articles have been submitted by Mens Fitness?
- BarlowBRob, on 03/27/2009, -1/+21You do realize there are low-carb sugar-free versions of energy drinks too, especially ALL the ones in this article that you didn't even read probably...So what does your dad say about those?
I think the blue Monster tastes the best for the ones I've tried on that page. - FirstCuts, on 03/27/2009, -4/+22I don't know why I drink Red Bull, but I do occasionally when I'm dragging. Even if it's a placebo effect, it's something I suppose.
- digital0verdose, on 03/27/2009, -0/+16"One expert breaks down what exactly is in these high-energy formulas."
It took an expert to create that lame ass presentation? Just walk into any convenience store and find that 16 year old shopping the energy drink category and he could tell you the same thing.
In other news, it would be nice if these so called "experts" were defined. In this instance I am thinking it would look like this.
"One expert* breaks down what exactly is in these high-energy formulas."
* random web admin that sits at his desk 20 hours a day and has a pile of empty energy drink cans forming in his cubicle - gaqua, on 03/27/2009, -7/+20I'll go you one step further: I only drink pure rainwater. Why? Have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water? No. On no account will a Commie ever drink water, and not without good reason. Water is the source of all life. Seven-tenths of this earth's surface is water.
Do you realize that seventy percent of you is water? As human beings, you and I need fresh, pure water to replenish our precious bodily fluids.
Have you ever heard of a thing called fluoridation. Fluoridation of water? Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous Communist plot we have ever had to face? - camknig, on 03/27/2009, -0/+11Yeah WTF was that article? I thought they were gonna tell me which one will make my heart explode the fastest.
- meckenrode, on 03/27/2009, -1/+11i found that a 32 ounce dunkin donuts iced coffee works mighty fine for me
- gotflash, on 03/27/2009, -0/+10You're gonna like my nuts.
- Logan2784, on 03/27/2009, -1/+10Mens Fitness is a magazine for losers. It's as mindless as Cosmo is for women, therefore I won't take their ***** taste test advice.
- Smokeydabear, on 03/27/2009, -0/+9Energy drinks, or as I like to call them....Summer Coffee.
- Coercer43, on 03/27/2009, -0/+9w-w-w-w-w-WRONG
Those were all low carb or sugarless. - ddoorn, on 03/27/2009, -6/+14There isn't any liquid we need to put in our bodies beyond Adam's Ale, H2O...besides an occasional morning cup of coffee, that's all I drink...keeps life simple, I can bypass all the rows and shelves of beverages in the convenience stores and supermarkets.
- plzhateme, on 03/27/2009, -0/+8its amazing you can find a way to patronize religion in an article about energy drinks...
- Kahnza, on 03/27/2009, -2/+10I'll stick to beer, water, and milk.
- inactive, on 03/27/2009, -0/+8Of course they leave out the best of them all, Rockstar Lo Carb (Blue can). Tastes fruity not like cough syrup, only 20 calories and 240 F-ing grams of caffiene. I once drank 2 in an hour and thought I was gonna die.
- greatmunizzle, on 03/27/2009, -1/+8i'll stick to coffee, thank you. I cannot stomach any of these drinks.
- TheBigSquid, on 03/27/2009, -2/+9I heard red bull makes your nuts all shriveled.
- MScrip, on 03/27/2009, -0/+7Chuck Yeager?
Oh... you meant Jäger - MScrip, on 03/27/2009, -0/+7Here's a searchable database of caffeine content:

*not my site... just a cool resource... - plzhateme, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6I guess it was a bad sign when I dry heaved after smelling it. Then proceed to drink it and felt as death would be welcomed at any time, but other than that I was wide awake.++++
- MatthewDuke, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6I just drink cobra blood when I need extra energy.
- tcklord, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6Milligrams, if it was grams you would die
- inactive, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6I love how they don't bother to tell you what the ***** it is or why it's bad, but geez, the commercial said "Tsk tsk!" so it must be horrible.
- MatthewDuke, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6I care about your erections. What?
- frepnog, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6when i need to be alert on a drive or something i will chug a red bull, and honestly for a good 45 minutes it does wake me the ***** up. doesnt last more that that, however, and that 5 hour energy ***** is a total ***** scam. it doesnt supply 5 minutes of energy, much less hours.
- gobbleplex, on 03/27/2009, -1/+7... And. One AND the same.
- inigomntoya, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6I don't think he would have died. He might have killed someone else. That or built a bridge across the Hudson river...
- duncan202, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5Whatever happened to good old fashion speed?
- synapsis9, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5I'll stick to drinking maple syrup thanks
- Upon66, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5No Bawls? Buried
- plzhateme, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5soda is just as bad for your teeth as an energy drink
- KrazyMon2, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5NOS is another energy drink and it tastes pretty damn good.
- anexanhume, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5If it does, all the gamers and geeks who drink mountain dew could never have children... wait, I can't even test this... nevermind.
- jjones20, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5i drink the xenergy ones every now and then, the asian dude sells them at the store down the street, 2 for $3.50.
I drink it mainly because of this commercial:

- BooLag, on 04/23/2009, -0/+5POWERTHIRST!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRuNxHqwazs - duncan202, on 03/27/2009, -1/+6It's because it causes you to wake up while your still drunk.
- Cuchanu, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5@bacchus1313
Sucralose has never been proven to have any adverse side effects unlike aspartame. I know that Monster uses sucralose. - TotalDouche, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4Starbucks Venti Iced Coffee gets you the most jacked. And I love Red Bulls.
They all make you ***** though. - Jhiaxuz, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4It's like they got bored and had to run around the office to find something to write about. It would explain the lack of variety and abysmal article.
- evildeadguy, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4No, please go on. I would like to hear more about your erections.
- raptor87, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
- GopherChucks, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4*woosh*
- idiosyncrisia, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4I have been in the UK for 3 months now, and I just recently found green Monster in a gas station. I bought 10 cans and they were done in 3 days. But the UK has a limit on the caffeine allowed in energy drinks, I think it's something like 32/100 mg or some such crap. Even though I was super happy finding Monster finally here in the UK, it tastes completely different and I was dissapointed. I still drank one today.
So I guess what I'm saying is that they are damned addictive once you start drinking at least one a day for a whole year. Oh man I'm going to die soon. - specialK16, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4Out of every energy drink I've tasted, red bull is that one I love the most, sweet candy like taste... ummm, I love it.
Regarding the effect, I find it to be more like a placebo, sometimes it works, other times it just doesn't work. - wastingpenguins, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4I understand that this is an article in Men's Fitness, but... who in the hell thought that energy drinks were some kind of healthy elixir or supplement in the first place? As far as I'm concerned they are just a delicious medium for delivering high doses of caffeine to my tired brain.
- blapierre, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4I swear Red Bull is made from liquefied Smarties.
- andy2na, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4go to a pharmacy and buy Vitamin B supplements, it is a lot safer and healthier and still gives you the energy that these energy drinks give.
