I can't see anything out of it (like a cyclopes or something) but can feel and move the eye. Maybe soon I will be able to finally see, and have cool zooming features (thinking of Garret from Thief) to boot!!!!

- fnar, on 07/21/2009, -0/+2This is NOT a bionic eye, it's just a lens. In age related macular degeneration, you develop blind spots in the center of the retina, so this re-focuses the light that would have gone to the center of the retina onto the outer periphery instead. No "bionic" involved.
