- stopnow, on 06/02/2009, -0/+12Amazing is right! Hope this leads somewhere.
- Harvester1, on 06/02/2009, -1/+12"...and knowledge shall be increased." Wow! I'm always amazed when I read articles such as this. A remarkable achievement!
- InMSWeAntitrust, on 06/02/2009, -1/+6In all seriousness, a step forward is a step forward; trials with mice being successful is a good sign, and I hope that this isn't just more medical vaporware
- Bainemo, on 06/02/2009, -0/+4What's with the comments about resolution? This is about removing scar tissue, not turning you into a cyborg.
- donedeal312, on 06/02/2009, -1/+4Whoa thats crazy, god bless. Everyone should be able to see the beauty around us. Makes me appreciate today and the sight I have. I wish the best for this!!!!
- mtdna, on 06/02/2009, -1/+4This reminds me of the book, "WWW Wake", by Robert Sawyer.
The main character, Caitlin, gets an implant that lets her see. It runs partly over an interweb connection, and she develops the ability to communicate with an emergent mind hidden in the web.
It's less cheesy than you'd think. Yes - it's riddled with inaccuracies, but if you can get past that it is pretty fun. - twiztidsinz, on 06/02/2009, -0/+2FALSE!
If this were true, then Geordi La Forge wouldn't have needed that visor in the documentary about the future. - twiztidsinz, on 06/02/2009, -0/+2

- CrackyJSquirrel, on 06/02/2009, -0/+1As long as there is no Comcast throttling, it should be fast enough.

- thoughtsonthis, on 06/03/2009, -0/+1I would love to see this happen. What a miracle this would be.

(coz the blindness thing and "see" and it's kinda....ugh what am i doing) - Chrelion, on 06/02/2009, -2/+1Another marvel achieved by logic, research and science. The so-called of "miracles" of yesteryore and scripture are periodically retreating as, more and more, the works of man begin to trump those of faith! God is dead, and we are twisting the knife triumphantly!
