IT IS A SURGERY PICTURE - NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH.... but I find it quite fascinating - eredeath, on 12/18/2008, -2/+44I wonder if the Surgeon didn't remove it, if "tumor" would have developed further and exploded out of the kids head when it hit puberty.
- duggtodeath, on 12/18/2008, -2/+41An unfortunate victim of prenatal curb-stomping.
- samoan27, on 12/18/2008, -0/+33"Sam was three days old and otherwise healthy"
That, to me, seems like a pretty big 'otherwise'. - ShannonGB, on 12/18/2008, -7/+37Wow. I hope the baby will be alright.
- piptheminkey, on 12/18/2008, -1/+26When my mother was pregnant with me they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later they discovered that I had reabsorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.
- jayrok, on 12/18/2008, -1/+23Zeus?
- CTK14A, on 12/18/2008, -2/+24A picture of the child if left untreated:

- Opiebreath, on 12/18/2008, -2/+19Most kids have unfamiliar hair and awkward pimple, but little Timmy also had the foot growing out of his head to deal with during puberty. Needless to say, he wasn't the most popular kid on the playground.
- stachesnmullets, on 12/18/2008, -3/+20Do not smoke meth during pregnancy.
- tinkafoo, on 12/18/2008, -0/+14Ain't that a kick in the head.
- SavageIndustrie, on 07/25/2009, -1/+13Where are the pics?
- immatellyouwhat, on 12/18/2008, -4/+16The baby accidentally the whole foot
- inactive, on 12/18/2008, -1/+11Boobs with boobs in their boobs?
YO DAWG I HEARD YOU LIKE BOOBS SO I PUT BOOBS IN YOUR BOOBS SO YOU CAN GROPE WHILE YOU GROPE - dafragsta, on 12/18/2008, -0/+10This supports my long standing theory that tumors can be ***** creepy.
- Otto, on 12/18/2008, -0/+9Warning: EWW!
http://images.ibsys.com/2008/1217/18298369_640X480 ... - MattCalmus, on 12/18/2008, -0/+8So...who's going to foot the medical bill?
- chanop, on 12/18/2008, -2/+10Since the story allready hit the front page, let's bi-pass the digg-spam
http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_11240949 - inactive, on 12/18/2008, -0/+8How bout he's Bush's new son, and he's already adapting to shoe projectiles to the head by growing feet there that will catch it?
/too long to be funny - skersh, on 12/18/2008, -0/+8I'm so happy I wasn't the only one that thought of that...
You just killed Athena!!! - zip000, on 12/18/2008, -0/+8That is disgusting and amazing. It's a perfect little baby foot coming out of bloody brainy goo.
You'd almost think that the foot was the good part. - zip000, on 12/18/2008, -0/+8He got dugg down for not reading the article in which this was clearly stated, not for hoping the kid was ok.
At least I hope not. - Opiebreath, on 12/18/2008, -1/+8"Grabb was not sure what caused the growth but said it may have been a type of congenital brain tumour. However, such tumours were usually less complex, he said."
You mean they don't have fully formed feet? Yeah, I would call that less complex too.
So wait.. the kid had fetus in fetu where his twin grows inside of him in the womb, AND a brain tumor? What the *****? - zip000, on 12/18/2008, -0/+7It's not exactly obscure, but I bet most don't get it.
- kdnewton, on 12/18/2008, -0/+7Someone teleported a baby into the same location as another baby? The baby with the foot in his brain is lucky he wasn't telefragged.
- russdthree, on 12/18/2008, -0/+7"Dr. Hephaestus needed in the OR."
They should rename him Zeus. Or the foot Athena. - diizy, on 12/18/2008, -1/+7You mean like the lady with the baby in the side of her face off Southpark?
- paradox4190, on 12/18/2008, -0/+6because it happened two and a half months ago and he no longer is 3 days old.
- donkevin, on 12/18/2008, -0/+6That's what she said.
- ACiDGRiM, on 12/18/2008, -0/+6IT'S A TUMA
- ngmcs8203, on 12/18/2008, -0/+6Doesn't the description say that the baby is otherwise healthy?
- Manther, on 12/18/2008, -0/+5For now, but that doesn't mean the baby will be healthy in the future.... Here's to hoping that for the rest of his life, this baby will be healthy
- chadsmith729, on 12/18/2008, -2/+7FTA: "Sam was three days old and otherwise healthy"
I don't like the word "was" in there. Makes it seem like Sam didn't make it. The fetus in fetu thing always fascinates me. - betheturtle, on 12/18/2008, -0/+5Oddly enough, that concept applies to most pairs of cute things.

How is babby brain foot formed??? - sockpuppets, on 12/18/2008, -3/+7Proof humans have a sole!
- Netmindstorm, on 12/18/2008, -0/+4Pics/video from this submission http://digg.com/odd_stuff/Doctor_Finds_Foot_Growin ...
http://www.thedenverchannel.com/health/18297954/de ... - nem0, on 12/18/2008, -2/+6Just be glad there aren't pics.
- Subduction, on 12/18/2008, -0/+4Not necessarily. Dermoid tumors can have fully-formed eyes, teeth, hair, all kinds of things. They're not fetal anything, just tumors with an attitude.
Some things in the dark corners of medicine are best left in the dark corners of medicine... - mattycoze, on 12/18/2008, -0/+4"It's Not a Tumor"
- UNCsucks, on 12/18/2008, -2/+6I'm just baffled how 5 people (at the time of posting) have Dugg you down so far.
- Lucas123, on 12/18/2008, -1/+5I've heard of foot-and-mouth disease, but this is ridiculous.
- ClevelandBrown, on 12/18/2008, -1/+5Looks at picture... looks at lasagna lunch... keeps eating.
- OneLess, on 12/18/2008, -0/+3Interesting take on this from a developmental biologist:
http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2008/12/awesome ... - inactive, on 12/18/2008, -0/+3They need to do way instain babby, who grow foot in their brans because their brans can't frigth back? It was in the news this mroning, a babby in GB who grewd a foot in their bran.
