- smebbin, on 06/01/2008, -0/+1I was watching "Man vs. Wild" and the guy was using secretion from coral in the ocean as a natural sunscreen. Common sense would tell you that wiping any sort of petroleum product persistently over long periods of time, probably isn't too good for you. On the flip-side, I am sure the benefits outweigh the consequences of not using sunscreen with harmful rays beating you skin up over that same period of time without using sunscreen. Another one of those, "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't scenarios".
