- cmsjustin, on 10/28/2008, -4/+100I don't really caribou this
- manstein01, on 10/28/2008, -3/+75Considering the quality of most Chinese take-out restaurants, venison would be a delicacy.
- cbarning, on 10/28/2008, -0/+70One more thing. Create your own titles for stories you submit instead of just copying the title from the original article. Write your own summary too. For example the article you submitted the title was "WIVB-TV News4 Buffalo, NY |Road Kill inside chinese restaura", who's going to click on that? The title was even truncated. This clearly needed to be rewritten. Compare that to the title the user submitted for the same story. You tell me which one is going to be clicked more:
His "Restaurant closed after dead deer found in kitchen"
or
Yours "WIVB-TV News4 Buffalo, NY |Road Kill inside chinese restaura" - crackedlogic, on 10/28/2008, -3/+69I'm surprised...usually in kitchens you can find many a dead animal.
- MasterPain, on 10/28/2008, -3/+64Is this not better than them butchering a live deer?
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 10/28/2008, -30/+90STFU you baby
- renegadeafk, on 10/28/2008, -13/+66Here comes the WHAAAAAAAAMMMBULANCE
- pstroll, on 10/28/2008, -7/+58Lucky bastards! My local Chinese restaurant uses rat
- mjl5007, on 10/28/2008, -13/+59I'm sorry, I can't understand a single thing you're saying; I don't speak WHINESE.
- borez, on 10/28/2008, -0/+46Buck up mate, your jokes are fawning
- footodors, on 10/28/2008, -6/+51What, run out of cats, did we??
- kidblast, on 10/28/2008, -0/+42Wouldn't it have been more shocking if there was a live deer in the kitchen?
- inactive, on 10/28/2008, -2/+43deer god...
- evillawngnome, on 10/28/2008, -1/+41Venison has its place in cuisine. I'm sure they were just butchering it at the restaurant because it was convenient. Having butchered a deer in the basement, i would have preferred a nice big stainless workspace.
Lets be real: If this wasn't a chinese restaurant, this wouldn't be news. They're playing to everyones fears about being served dubious meat. - glinsvad, on 10/28/2008, -1/+34I find your comments very amooseing
- borez, on 10/28/2008, -0/+32Doe!
- Fanrir, on 10/28/2008, -0/+30A Deer.
- krabat, on 10/28/2008, -3/+32As long as I can still get 10 pounds of food for $3.50, I don't care what these Chinese places put in it.
- rdvon, on 10/28/2008, -0/+28A female Deer.
- TheMidnight, on 10/28/2008, -0/+26You guys need some gnu jokes.
- OutsideofDreams, on 10/28/2008, -1/+24Being from Buffalo, this is widely discussed. Rumor is that the health department was tipped off by a customer, who saw them dragging the deer in through the front door. Also, there are many legitimate claims that this establishment has been killing seagulls for their food.
Listen to 103.3 The Edge - Wedg Buffalo (http://www.wedg.com) any time after 3:00pm and you'll most likely catch them talking about it in great length. - WhoDoneIt, on 10/28/2008, -7/+30Wong Meat. Soo sawry!! |-)
- mc77, on 10/28/2008, -1/+20It is a bit worse than the Dugg story describes. The deer was road kill that they were seen dragging across the parking lot and into the front door. China King also has a history of violations.

- Dougenheim, on 10/28/2008, -2/+20This is a prime example of everything that is wrong with Digg.
- mortigon, on 10/28/2008, -4/+21What does getting more Diggs do? Digg prestige?
- MasterPain, on 10/28/2008, -0/+17Ya and people eat deer. I could see if it was a dog or something, or a horse even.
- PGPirate, on 10/28/2008, -3/+20It would be funny if it was a Buffalo instead of deer
- explnx, on 04/27/2009, -1/+18They could be milking it. That's normal, right?
- evillawngnome, on 10/28/2008, -3/+20I'm pretty sure the main ingredient in meat is "Dead animal".
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 10/28/2008, -0/+16Doe Ray Egon
- VeritasAequitas, on 10/28/2008, -1/+17Ok I get that it's against the law to butcher a wild animal in a commercial Kitchen. But I don't get why everyone is freaking out about this? I de-bone deer and all manner of game birds all fall in my kitchen, the wife just doesn't want them in the house "dressed" as she says. they gotta have the fur and feathers off outside or in the garage. Hell I have left over Duck stir fry in the fridge here at work. Shot the ducks on Sunday eat them on monday left overs on tuesday. People really get soo worked up about this stuff. They are fine eating it as long as they don't know where it comes from, how it got there, or what it's face looked like. It's sad that we've come so far from our roots that people get outraged by this. Slap em with a fine and let them know they can't butcher down animals in a commercial kitchen I get that but shutting them down and having a media frenzy over it?.
- phishneslo, on 10/28/2008, -1/+17i saw a deer get hit by a car on my way to work at a restaurant job a few years ago, told the head chef, and we went a butchered it on the side of the road. i can only imagine what the people driving past were thinking... he was still wearing his hat and white coat.

- iMattK, on 10/28/2008, -4/+18I thought that the "Shredded Pork with Green Peppers" I ordered last week had a truly distinct taste...now I know why. ;-)
- jonmlm, on 10/28/2008, -0/+14it's probably an issue with the fur and dirty hooves and, i dont know, *****? all that shouldn't be in the same area as prepared food.
- imronburgundy83, on 10/28/2008, -13/+27How bout a whaaamburger and french cries?
- rrife, on 10/28/2008, -2/+15I don't see the problem....everybody is always whining about how we're unresourceful and waste everything. People need to eat, the deer was dead, it's a source of food.....they just connected the dots and solved a problem.
- gwyrth, on 10/28/2008, -0/+13That was really great...thanks for offering constructive criticism instead of just tearing the poor bastard apart. You did your part to make the world a bit less annoying.
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -2/+15Yes, somewhat confused here. Don't restaurants normally have dead animals out the back to make, you know, the food? According to the article you can't butcher meat in a restaurant?
"Sorry, sir, that meat is much too fresh, please order some to be delivered that has been sitting around for a couple of days" - MadEnvoy, on 10/28/2008, -2/+13pokechop
