They never take into account all the chemical and pesticide residues or the fact that the foods are derived from, basically, very sick or weak organisms that have been pumped full of every kind of chemical.
it's all part of the big lie fostered by mega-corporations who sell chemicals and chemical-filled foods.
Then, they expect to sell everyone all their fancy medicines and dietary foods, etc, to counteract the toxicity of the crappy foods they sold us in the first place.
Meanwhile, there is another world -- a kind of parallel universe, of people who eat organic only, and who never seem to get ill or fat or generally toxified as much as the asleep masses who take sh*t from the corporations. - deborah195, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2What really irks me is how cigarette smoking is getting the big boot now. People seem to be content in their non-smoking smugness while eating at McDonalds/KFC and other fast foods that use processed everything! Do these people not realize that food is what builds and maintains their bodies where smoke is an occasional non-body building/maintaining activity. Sure smoking is bad for you but when people are getting sick all the time from hotdogs and velveeta cheese and me, I don't eat that crap yet I smoke and don't get sick, it still doesn't compute with these smug non-smoking buggers! And of course it wont; multi-billion mega corps will make sure of that!!
