Nice Job FEMA: Katrina Victims Given Poisonous Homes
nutritionresearchcenter.org — Fumes from 519 trailer and mobile homes in Louisiana and Mississippi were — on average — about five times what people are exposed to in most modern homes. In some trailers, the levels were nearly 40 times customary exposure levels, raising fears that residents could contract respiratory problems.

- harrisonferrel, on 02/15/2008, -1/+3A never ending ***** up. That's the cornerstone of this administration, although it was doomed from the start, given the mentality and consciousness of Bush and all his friends. When you're that self-absorbed and self-centered, you create a trail of garbage, waste and disaster. We've seen this over and over again, from the Katrina debacle to the current state of the economy to the way everyone is blamed and nobody takes any responsibility. Read about sociopathy and you'll find out where the core of our problems lie.

- zunigbab, on 02/25/2008, -0/+1If you are still living in one of these things, there is a good chance you will NEVER actually get your house rebuilt. Time to move on! And, I'm sure FEMA, Bush, Cheney and possibly Rumsfeld all personally inspected and tested these dwellings for formaldehyde. Then, as they twisted their fake mustaches in the most evil looking way possible, all cackled in unison, "These will do nicely, hahahahahah!" Give me a break people. Not everything is a CONspiracy or under the direct control of the president. BTW, you all were bitching about why somethiong was being done for these people and why it wasn't being done faster, faster, faster!
