I've helped my grandpa make wine, and I spent no time trying to procure it's properties. Just drank it and enjoyed it. 'Beginners'? You must mean someone having their first drink surely? -

thought it was for wine on linx misleading title for a digg article. for the drink just select a bottle from a winery that you have had before that was good and enjoy. preferably chilled in a wine glass (little tip hold the glass by the stem that way no heat from your hand warms the wine)
