- Sonan, on 04/24/2009, -2/+42You know what? Who cares. It's not like smokers are going to say, "Well, I can live with lung cancer, mouth cancer, throat cancer, larynx cancer, oesophagus cancer, stomach cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, pancreas cancer, liver cancer, penis cancer, anus cancer, cervical cancer and prostate cancer, but not breast cancer! I'm quitting today!"
- DooM, on 04/24/2009, -2/+37"HOLY *****! These things are bad for you?! *****, I thought they were good for you! I thought they had Vitamin C in them and stuff!"
- spriggig, on 04/24/2009, -1/+31Oh smoking, is there anything you *can't* do?
- nbluth, on 04/24/2009, -0/+22BREAKING: SMOKING CIGARETTES CAUSES CANCER
- shutaro, on 04/24/2009, -2/+21Cure cancer.
- shutaro, on 04/24/2009, -1/+17If you can live with penis cancer you probably don't need to worry about breast cancer...
- frequentFlyer, on 04/24/2009, -0/+15True, but smoking POT will cure it!!!
/s - Krakerjax, on 04/24/2009, -1/+14Smoking causes cancer?! Oh god, what have I been doing all these years!
- TwistyMcFister, on 04/24/2009, -1/+13MORE BREAKING: USING TWITTER CAUSES PENIS CANCER
- inactive, on 04/24/2009, -0/+11My girl friend and all her friends smoke, I better call them over and give a them a free breast examination.
- DaveXensen, on 04/24/2009, -1/+11I agree, it should of said 'Tit cancer' instead
- hobojohnn, on 04/24/2009, -2/+10Everything causes cancer. Going on Digg causes cancer, typing causes cancer, breakdancing causes cancer.
- killahwhale, on 04/24/2009, -1/+8Can I smoke weed?
No.
But, you can smoke rat poison. Have fun!
Signed,
US Government. - medlakeguy, on 04/24/2009, -1/+8maybe by causing tumor tumors?
- inactive, on 04/24/2009, -2/+9Smoking also causes coolness.
*slicks back hair, takes long smooth drag* - xDynaBlade, on 04/24/2009, -0/+6This blasts apart my perception of reality.
- AndrewDB, on 04/24/2009, -1/+7You don't have breasts?
What kind of genetic freak of nature are you?
What do you have? Udders? - ammundsen, on 04/24/2009, -0/+6Buried for the headline not matching the article. This is evidence for a link. But clearly there is a good bit of evidence not suggesting a link. And as always you need to check their methodology. And you need to prove causation. This could merely be a correlation.
And, will anyone question these results since it was done by an ant-smoking group? When tobacco companies pay for research it is usually dismissed. - TruBlu2, on 04/24/2009, -0/+6Thanks for sharing. Why were you holding back all these years?
- mnemy, on 04/24/2009, -1/+7Make up your mind science!!! This report says smoking reduces breast cancer!

- F34RInc, on 04/25/2009, -1/+6I love to smoke. I smoke seven thousand packs a day, ok. And I am never ***** quitting! I don't care how many laws they make. What's the law now? You can only smoke in your apartment, under a blanket, with all the lights out? Is that the rule now, huh?! The cops are outside, "We know you have the cigarettes. Come out of the house with the cigarettes above your head." "You'll never get me copper! I'm never coming out, you hear? I got a cigarette machine right here in my bedroom. Yeah!"
- yocouchdigga, on 04/24/2009, -0/+5I love this guy.

- lisaawesome, on 04/24/2009, -0/+4I was thinking just that. To me it seems lung cancer would be more scary than breast cancer anyway.
- Wugie, on 04/24/2009, -0/+4At this point I'm pretty sure you could link anything with any form of cancer because a certain amount of people are going to get that cancer no matter what they do
- wakeupsticky, on 04/25/2009, -0/+3I lol at all of his comments
- billraydrums, on 04/24/2009, -1/+4Prostate cancer is more common than breast cancer (186,320 cases per year for prostate cancer -vs- 182,460 (female); 1,990 (male))
But breast cancer kills more per year.
(28,660 prostate cancer -vs- 40,480 (female); 450 (male))

So when's the 3 day prostate cancer walk gonna happen? Probably never because men don't take that ***** seriously enough. Just sayin'.
Myself, unless my johnson is close to falling off (like that weekend in Tijuana 20 years back) I don't think about it. Guess I oughta. So should you. - billraydrums, on 04/24/2009, -3/+6And yet it's still legal and marijuana isn't. (putting on digg-down suit)
- danielorbital, on 04/24/2009, -0/+3life is death in the making.
- ModeSeven, on 04/24/2009, -0/+3You thought people on THIS SITE would have a problem with that comment?
- shutaro, on 04/24/2009, -0/+3Yeah, you can't really have your lungs removed.

Yet. - wily6, on 04/25/2009, -0/+2I'm sure this is going to push smokers out there over the edge.
- danielorbital, on 04/24/2009, -0/+2orly?

You see? If you google "Marijuana cancer" you will be treated to exactly the results you are looking for. - ModeSeven, on 04/24/2009, -0/+2The first smoke of the day also causes me to need a ***** for some reason. It used to, anyway. I gave up.
I really miss smoking... - mickereeno, on 04/24/2009, -0/+1if lung cancer and throat cancer didnt stop someone from smoking, i doubt breast cancer will do anything either.
- ddogfilm, on 04/24/2009, -0/+1damn. yet another reason against my smoking. i try to quit i just cant!
- mickereeno, on 04/24/2009, -0/+1hahahahahaha... well thats a different kind of smoking all together now isnt it?
- wakeupsticky, on 04/25/2009, -0/+1Both Dugg for *****' Denis Leary
- ddetina, on 04/24/2009, -0/+1Seeing as ten percent of breast cancer is in men, it would seem that Billy Bob has yet another thing to worry about.
- hump-backed geek - mmittimm, on 04/24/2009, -1/+2Yeah because there's actually enough arsenic and cyanide in cigarette smoke to hurt people, right?
It's one thing to spread awareness about the cancer risks and other actual health problems they cause, but who cares about traces of chemicals that aren't actually going to do any harm? Car exhaust has cyanide in it too, do you see anyone in arms over that?
Cancer = Deadly
Emphysema = Deadly
Trace amounts of poisonous chemicals = NOT DEADLY
Someone explain why anti-smoking groups are focusing on this. -
