He is basically telling her "I want you to move, because you use a medicine which I don't like!"... How dare he. -_-
If it's a legal medicine in the state, then it should be treated as any other medication would, you shouldn't be fired or evicted for using a medication! In fact, she should get a victory in court against this landlord, for this!
Doesn't matter if the apartments are "Drug Free" (As silly as that concept is, I bet plenty of residents drink alcohol and use other drugs)... You can't kick people out for a medication. - inactive, on 10/23/2008, -1/+19Later, the landlord celebrated the eviction with cigars and tequila shots.
- imacommi, on 10/23/2008, -1/+17Are you ***** kidding me?
- whiteyx, on 10/23/2008, -1/+14Seems like the landlord needs to pop a squat next to her, take a rip from the bong and then proceed to shut the ***** up and mind his own business.
- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -1/+12What a terd!
- Surferess, on 10/23/2008, -1/+10Hopefully, they have a strong pro-medical MJ group that can help this lady out. In California she would be helped out by a chapter of the ASA (American's for Safe Access)
- gluck7104, on 10/23/2008, -1/+9RIDICULUOUS!!! Please tell me that any competant attorney or state/government agency couldn't just dispute this by asking each resident within that living community if they have used antibiotics since residing there? Tylenol, since living there? is anyone on blood pressure medication or ANY medication at all? The apartment and it's unreasonable management would be evicting people right and left. I hope she squats and gets hold of the ACLU or NORML or MMP, I understand that these agencies are just itching to go toe to toe with amoral cases such as this. WTF is wrong with these cruel people!

http://digg.com/politics/FTL_Interviews_Ageda_Cama ... - angeladtao, on 10/25/2008, -0/+1I read an article recently that claimed to explain why some people are conservatives (and presumably, anti-medical marijuana along with anything else remotely outside the mainstream) and some are liberals. It said that Reps(conservatives, I'm thinking) tend to be people who are easy to scare, and Dems(liberals) are not. I don't know if that explains why some people seem so terrified of anything that doesn't fit into the extremely straight and narrow road are usually Reps. Since I read that article, I have been feeling sorrier for Reps because I know that I am not afraid all the time. It must be sad to have to live in a place of fear all the time. I have always been a risk taker in all aspects of my life and also willing to be tolerant of other's beliefs. I know that what others do or believe won't hurt me - unless they get into political power. I guess Reps must be afraid that people with different views and ways of life may actually pose a personal threat to them. Maybe this man actually believes that medicinal pot has a direct connection to the nearest hard drug dealer who will invade his neighborhood and hook his kids. Now, who among us would make that kind of leap of thought? You have to live in a whole lot of fear to think like that. So far, though, that's the only explanation that I have ever come up with that might explain this irrational fear of pot, even when used medicinally. The link to the article is this:
