- tamacurtis, on 05/28/2008, -0/+26How does one go about getting a job where you give monkeys a cocaine addiction?
- Hassassin, on 05/28/2008, -0/+19Where does one sign up to be the monkey?
- andyb747, on 05/28/2008, -0/+16Monkeys on coke act like *****. Monkeys on ecstasy are much more pleasant to be around.
- Hassassin, on 05/28/2008, -0/+12If it had a vagina...
- DrCrankenstein, on 05/28/2008, -2/+14You mean it's not just an incessant desire to ram powder up my nose?
- gnomemage7, on 05/28/2008, -0/+11You have to run for elected office
- cannabrain, on 05/28/2008, -0/+7I used to have a horrible habit with coke. Ive experimented with alot of different drugs but coke was one of the scariest as I had little to no self control over it. Scary stuff...poor monkeys.
- MISking, on 05/28/2008, -4/+11Did we really have to coke up some monkeys to show it affects the brain?
- jimmyp80, on 05/28/2008, -1/+7So cocaine abuse has an adverse and long lasting affect on the brain. Who knew?
- inactive, on 11/13/2008, -0/+4Monkey on coke
http://youtube.com/watch?v=dOfmw557jNU - andyb747, on 05/28/2008, -0/+4"Me and my friends have been too busy sunbathing off the southern coast of St. Bart's with spider monkeys for the past two weeks, tripping on acid. Changed our whole perspective on *****"
- DrYeti, on 05/28/2008, -1/+5♫ Leave these poor sick monkeys alone. They're sick, they’ve got problems enough as it is. ♫
- utterer, on 05/28/2008, -0/+4These monkeys really know how to party.
- thinkart, on 05/28/2008, -0/+3i think you may have found the direct link between human and monkey.
- inactive, on 05/28/2008, -2/+4Hell no, it obviously makes them want to run for president.
- inactive, on 05/28/2008, -1/+3Yes because torturing humans is immoral. Torturing monkeys is just fine.

http://www.all-creatures.org/anex/monkey.html - mwmccullough, on 05/28/2008, -0/+2Sometimes I feel like caffeine might have the same long term affect. Now excuse me while I kiss the sky.
- nj10ii, on 05/28/2008, -0/+2They make it in their homeland of Columbia, then they found such a market in the USA that they can afford to put it in submarines and ship it here.
Damn Columbian monkeys! - hokie47, on 05/28/2008, -0/+2I like Obama, but I just wanted to point out the love for Obama and the hate for Bush despite doing the same drug.
- Condottieri, on 05/28/2008, -1/+3Cocaine is a helluva drug.
- GJBlizzard, on 05/28/2008, -0/+2Thank You.
- sockpuppets, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Finally, some relief for that coked up angry monkey in my closet. Thank you science!
- FreeTalkLIve, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1I don't sniff cocaine to get high.
I just like the way it smells. - firkey, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Might be a little off-topic, but "cocaine addicted monkeys" made me lol
- wishninja, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1Admit it, it is not feasible to do a randomized controlled trials with illicit substances studies are usually inconclusive or draw on weakly correlated evidence. They only fund studies that meet their political objectives to dehumanize drug users, spread hyperbole, and to make sure science supports the drug war vision of how to deal with the problem. It is the carrot of money and the bias in what programs they chose to fund but they stop short of just making up data...or do they?
The Ecstasy Factor
Bad Science Slandered a Generation's Favorite Drug. Now a New Study Aims to Undo the Damage.
by Carla Spartos
FTA
"Alan Leshner, publisher of Science and former director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), has come under fire for endorsing the botched study at its time of publication... Leshner did help NIDA bring home the bacon: NIDA's budget for Ecstasy research has more than quadrupled over the past five years, from $3.4 million to $15.8 million; the agency funds 85 percent of the world's drug-abuse research. In 2001, Leshner testified before a Senate subcommittee on "Ecstasy Abuse and Control"; critics say Leshner manipulated brain scans from a 2000 study by Dr. Linda Chang showing no difference between Ecstasy users and control subjects."
- xEn1gma, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Using monkeys as test subjects?
Get Bling Bling from Bum Fights...he would hit up that coke all day. - mal1964, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Goodfellas Monkey Man
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMYA7XnOOVk - GJBlizzard, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1Agreed.
- chanop, on 05/28/2008, -3/+4awwww, they think they're people
- GJBlizzard, on 05/28/2008, -3/+4I'm pretty sure you're being racist, but no one realizes it because they think you're talking about Bush.
- Jorin, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Good call, sir.
- andyb747, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Hey monkey call 1-800-A-D-D-I-C-T-I-O-N.....and help get that cocaine human off your back.
....sorry I could not resist another comment - hichnii, on 11/01/2008, -0/+1Scary stuff...poor monkeys
http://howlongdoescocainestayinyoursystem.com/ - LogicBomB, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1Coke isn't weed, your point is retarded...
- GJBlizzard, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1Are you being willfully dense?
Obama admitted to doing coke and smoking pot in his book "The Audacity of Hope."
Do some research. - je12u, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Be careful though, they'll let you sample the goods, then switch the bag when you purchase. Don't get scammed.
- inactive, on 05/28/2008, -2/+3You must be a racist or you would not have thought that. Would you like to join the Klan?????? ***** yourself, get a sense of humor.
- GJBlizzard, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1^
Isn't that the same argument as "Whoever smelt it dealt it?" - LogicBomB, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1I thought coke was a fairly harmless drug (relatively speaking) but it looks like permanent or long-term changes/damages to the brain does in fact occur. Interesting.
- Whatup, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Need more info about those animals: weight loss?, behavior?, etc.
- Metasquares, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1There are human studies as well. I'm not sure why Science chose to emphasize an animal study.
- wishninja, on 05/28/2008, -2/+3If it is NIH talking about illicit substances you can be for sure it is nothing more than propaganda. Haven't we already heard this before? Government needs a new story to hype so they strap monkeys to a chair and feed them redicioulsly high doses of a drug not enough to kill them but enough to damage them. Scientists then show weak correlation and the press then hypes the story about brain dead cocaine zombies (and don't forget to tie the story to them doing something nasty to children) Then a bunch prohibitionists seeking moral moral superiority lobby congress to fill the prisons. Raciest politicians use the hysteria make laws targeting minority groups they do not like. Companies make big loot by running prisons and forced labor camps and evil doers make money off of selling even more powerful drugs. Judges toss out all our rights because catching these people trumps the constitution.
I can hear it now "longer sentences of years and years are needed to repair these damaged brains."
End the drug war now. - Hassassin, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Damn dirty apes.
- binorgog, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1George Bush is the Blow Monkey, not Obama
- inactive, on 05/28/2008, -3/+3if you walk the streets here you will see many people, commonly called "charlie boys" who will say "cocaine xtc" over and over, hoping someone will buy it. It does seem in certain parts of the world there is a surplus of some things, fortunately for some in that same area there is also a surplus of ready and willing women.
- hokie47, on 05/28/2008, -4/+4Is it shaped like Obama?
- inactive, on 05/28/2008, -4/+4***** cocaine.
- megabolix, on 09/25/2008, -0/+0bough some legal ***** )))
