- Hoekje, on 03/20/2008, -0/+4cchr.org even dares to say 'proper mental treatment' is _dangerous_ for (us) human beings. Humans destroyed, Cult of $cientology.
- educatedrodent, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3States across the US are trying to prevent suicides by making it illegal. Encouraging proper education about what conditions and mental states can lead to this action.. and ensuring that resources like counseling with TRAINED professionals, and medicines that have been shown to work in true studies by impartial third parties are far more effective.
The Church of Scientology says treating dangerous mental illness with a combination of untrained 'spiritual counselors' and poisonous overdoses of vitamins is part of the freedom of their religion... because they are opposed to psychiatry and psychiatric medication. It's more important to them than the lives of their parishioners. Apparently this "Church" really would rather their members 'be dead than be incapable', as the founder L R Hubbard demanded. - Endit, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2I wouldn't trust them with anything. Even if it wasn't the mental health system, they'd smear their style of evil on something (or somebody) else. Scientology is just plain 100% evil, and knows no boundaries. If it was up to them, I bet they would commit the next holocaust, with SPs and PTSs targeted.
- Penfold187, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2This is why $cientology must be exposed, their stated goal is the eradication of all mental health services, in favor of the ramblings of a half baked, poorly educated, failed science fiction writer. I'm sorry who are you going to trust with imbalanced and dangerous people, trained professionals or a adherents of a mad man?!
- 00dontpanic00, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2For every heartwrenching story like this, there are a hundred more. This has to STOP!
- thomasxa, on 02/10/2009, -0/+0Hey US! How much does scientology effect what doctors can do? Google John P Coal to start
