- tjClassic82, on 11/06/2008, -2/+6I'll take a headache over cancer any day!
- walshgopher, on 11/06/2008, -0/+3Your face is a cry for attention
- edenseager, on 11/06/2008, -0/+3Everything nowadays is ***** associated with cancer. I just want to get on with my life without being reminded about it and worrying every five minutes.
- LonesomeFighter, on 11/06/2008, -0/+3i don't think it works like that. plus then you will be 'that guy who goes after cancer people'
- apr35, on 11/06/2008, -1/+4Well I am pretty sure my wife won't be getting breast cancer, every night when we're getting ready to head to the bedroom she seems to get a headache...
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -0/+3Yay! You have horrible, debilitating pain in your head for which we have very shoddy treatments for and cause you to wish for your death several times a year, but you have a slightly less chance of getting boob cancer than those who don't want to stab their brains out with a screwdriver to make the hurting stop! Isn't that terrific?
- walshgopher, on 11/06/2008, -0/+3Oh wicked. I had one long migraine of varying severity everyday from age 15-17. Finally a payoff.
- remmie81, on 11/06/2008, -0/+2Interesting. The estrogen association does make sense. Does anyone know if the researchers controlled for medication for migraines use?
- crawfishDigger, on 11/06/2008, -0/+2My poor wife is a breast cancer survivor, and she has had migraines her whole life. Sucks that it should have been one or the other.
- CoreyHalliwell, on 11/06/2008, -1/+3Can this just stop? Like someone else must feel how i feel... These studies make no god damn sense to me some times. It's like scientists pull a disease and a word out of a hat and then try and link them.
- sockpuppets, on 11/06/2008, -1/+2I got cancer just by reading that.
- Tyrghast, on 11/06/2008, -3/+4So if that bitch at work gets breast cancer, Ill have proof that she'd faking those headaches just to get out of working...
- pikelet, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1Could they maybe have done this study last year before I went through months of agony over thinking I had cancer (because 'oh, we're pretty sure it's not..but..we can't tell until we remove it..so be careful') waiting for surgery to find out it was nothing. On the other hand, since I have chronic migraines, at least next time I won't panic as much?
- katrayun, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1Oh, well that totally makes up for it. Excuse me while I go puke and feel guilty about having to leave work early.
- CoreyHalliwell, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1I realize that by thinking outside the box they may find something but i mean c'mon. The sun causes cancer. I mean i could recommend ways of fighting cancer like eating right, reducing stress, but then i read that wine, while reducing strress is linked to alzheimer's and red meat is associated with colon cancer. Like what are we supposed to think if everything both causes and prevents things. NOTHING. We already know enough to "prevent" cancer and i hate reading ***** like this because it doesn't help. I was able to find this ***** in about 2 minutes of searching:

WTF? - protodon, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1It's always woman, isn't it?
- DaviDTC, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1I emailed this to my friend earlier today cause she gets migraines. I told her I think her boobies are well worth her having migraines. She hasn't responded yet though =/
- CoreyHalliwell, on 11/06/2008, -1/+2that was just a cry for attention.
- lostarchitect, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1these public health studies are increasingly worthless.
- chipxsd, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1On the other hand, she might get a stroke: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migraine#Migraine_and ...
- phroztbyt3, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1anal leakage has been found to be correlated with lower risk of diabetes....
'starts eating laxatives' - springsfromsalt, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1My mother suffered from both.
- FlareHeart, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1Correlation does not equal causation here people!
If it did then we could attribute child obesity to the decline of the number of ninjas in the world. Or we could blame the lack of pirates for global warming...both of those make about as much sense as the "link" between migraines and breast cancer in the article.
Buried for not actually explaining the link and assuming that it was linked based on preliminary studies with no actual proof. - defected07, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1Nope, men can get it too.

Oh ***** i have a breast lump!
... Nah it was just a cheeto
*thanks peter* - inactive, on 11/06/2008, -1/+1Yeah I agree. One time I read some study about sneezing being linked to some sort of cancer.
It's getting ridiculous now. - Iamdigginyou, on 11/08/2008, -0/+0I heard this story on the morning news. It's funny because my girl friend--who was actually with me at the time gets migraine headaches. I guess it's a little bit of the old finding the silver lining in the clouds.
- lilmentor3, on 11/06/2008, -6/+1WTF?

What is Digg?
