Medicare Doesn’t Do Legs: Disabled Need Not Apply

ashtynevans.com — Medicare recently turned down a wheelchair for a disabled individual. Upon an appeal, an independent firm with no knowledge of the person's medical history decided to turn the claim down and now the person, like many others affected by Medicare risks losing their only means of independent transport.
