after sending us a bunch of scary emails and closing campus and cancelling activities (including a 74-year-old tradition that was supposed to take place this weekend (parents' weekend, no less!)), we got an email that said:
"The college is NOT being quarantined...students are encouraged to REMAIN calm.
Please stay on campus as the CDC and the State of Michigan do not want the virus spreading to other communities."
well...good job. everyone already panicked and left. who knows how far this thing is going to spread now?

If there is a large gathering of students, the police will come and break them up. They pretty much have to sit in their rooms and hope the feverheads don't come and get them.

- degree, on 11/09/2008, -0/+23it wasn't all bad though, i guess. i had once walked into the girl's side bathroom to pee, and right as i was closing the stall door a girl walked into the bathroom and sat down in the stall next to me. we were both peeing, and it was kinda awkward at first. i got over that awkwardness, though, once i realized that i had a penis and that it was superior for peeing. i tried to show off a bit by changing the tone made by peeing in different areas of the toilet. such abilities are things girls can only DREAM of possessing. on top of all this, i had washed my hands and started walking out by the time she was finished. she was definitely jealous, i could tell by how pissed she looked.
