- Bic823, on 02/28/2009, -2/+16this just in from the "no *****" department.
- superfusion, on 02/28/2009, -1/+13oh ya, like i'm gonna put the door back on the microwave just cause of some article.
- elliotys, on 02/28/2009, -2/+8We're eating so much our body is trying to grow another person.
- NoTiG, on 02/28/2009, -2/+7Lifestyle changes can change more than just 1 third of cancer victims. Look at societies that do not have any cancer... they certainly don't have perfect genetics beacuse when they join our western lifestyle they suffer the same consequences.
I have two things to say: people don't really care.. they want to live how they want to live and a diet change is too much for people who are a pill popping nation and want it solved the easy way.
The second thing I have to say is we don't need legislation to tell us what to do.. even if it is the right thing sometimes. Of course once you have universal healthcare then all of the sudden things change because what you do effects everyone else since they are paying for it.
Less government please. - maliath, on 02/28/2009, -1/+5DUDE COMBINE THEM
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -0/+3So you're telling me I should go for the RED #40, instead of the naturally organic red coloring.
- AmnesiacJack, on 02/28/2009, -6/+9Organic is not always healthier and isn't nearly as "green" as it is advertised as being.
- 5urr3al5am, on 02/28/2009, -1/+4yeah its called... "NOT SMOKING"
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -2/+5Organic people.
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -1/+4No *****. Exercise more. Less bad food and more good food. This is nothing new. Buried.
- nullvector, on 02/28/2009, -0/+3Read "The China Project"....check Amazon.
Amazing reading, and very compelling....has nothing to do with organic, vs. non-organic, and everything to do with what you freaking put in your mouth in the first place. - spookyttws, on 02/28/2009, -1/+3You're going have to pry my bottle from my cold dead hand. Coincidentally, that'll probably be when I turn 26, so I've still got about 3 years.
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -1/+3Hell no, I'm not giving up bacon for avocados.
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -0/+2I have a better solution.
http://www.stop-spamming-digg.com/and-*****-you.php - Schrodinger2, on 02/28/2009, -1/+3The "no *****" department of the US Center for the Study of Obvious Facts.
- topgigmedia, on 02/28/2009, -1/+3Environmental toxins are a huge a part of it. People think that healthy food is the only silver bullet. The crap we breath, put on our bodies, lawns, etc. Our cleaners, kitchen utensils, food containers, etc - these all play a role in creating free radicals in our bodies that can't be helping our chances.
- temporaryholder, on 03/06/2009, -0/+1Okinawa is you ***** idiot
- novenator, on 03/04/2009, -0/+1nice one. You're in.
- psteve4, on 02/28/2009, -1/+2I want to have a job where a government/institution/association gives money out to do this kind of research. I could have told you this real quickly for the money they probably shelled out for this reort. Its like that study in Kentucky a long while back, they spent $17 million on researching why prisoners try to escape. wtf?
- DiggMeUpPlz, on 02/28/2009, -0/+1More fibre....
- SwiftKick34, on 02/28/2009, -1/+2Seems to be pretty "no *****" to me.
- outpostpps, on 02/28/2009, -0/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4DOQ6Xhqss
- flamesoftheend, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1Canadian article. Nice.
- MofugginPaulrus, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1Summary: if you practice a healthy lifestyle, you will live longer. You're welcome.
- MofugginPaulrus, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1Dude, you're being buried for not being a dude.
- maynardw, on 02/28/2009, -0/+1Though I agree with less government, can you point out these cancer-free societies?
- prcrimm1, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1And before I have another Alzimmers attack, please stop telling me if I only listen to you CBC I will never die.
- prcrimm1, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1You know what is making me sick. Billions spent on B.S. Eggs are bad no good. Coffee is bad no good. Smoking is bad, no good. Fat is bad, no good. I for one am tired of waiting for the sky to fall. If only I would listen to you, the world would be a wonderful place to live. B.S.
Why don't all of you enviro wackos, greenies, psuedo scientists, nabobs, and doogooders take a breath and give the rest of us some space. - ksalminen, on 02/28/2009, -1/+1Common sense not so common, says a sweeping international report released Thursday.
- DiggMeUpPlz, on 02/28/2009, -0/+0"Soylent Green is people! We've got to stop them somehow!"
- dtfinch, on 02/28/2009, -1/+1Only 1/3? Hardly worth it, just to reduce cancer by 1/3.
I guess I'll have to settle for "not dying fat and lonely" as my incentive to become healthy. - inactive, on 02/28/2009, -1/+1And yet we still manage to spend billions on ***** research...
- drex8, on 02/28/2009, -1/+1Every week on Digg there's a story on cancer, or somebody on the verge of curing cancer or how cancer can be prevented or totally eliminated.
I wish there comes out, once and for all, a final 'Cancer has been cured for good' story on digg for real. These articles only gets my hopes up only to bring it crushing down. - sunburner, on 02/28/2009, -1/+1http://tinyurl.com/2ycrds
- tortugadude78, on 03/01/2009, -0/+0Here is my advice. Eat healthy.you are what you eat. http://www.acaiberry321.com
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -1/+1There are NO cancer free groups of people. Cancer can be found everywhere. Yes, there are groups of people with less forms of certain cancers, that doesn't mean they're cancer free.
- helloitsdel, on 02/28/2009, -0/+0avira antivirus reports a malware trojan (HTML/crypted.gen) on that website with the story.
- DeskFlyer, on 02/28/2009, -2/+1I think overeating is far more dangerous than drinking, smoking, or lack of exercise combined.
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -2/+1Can we please stop having the front page overrun with these no-***** and correlation confused cancer articles? I'd prefer real science for once.
- coldplaymusic, on 02/28/2009, -1/+0hmm...yes back to nature again.
Do more exercise, eat healthy food and less junk food. Meet new friends outside.
And the most important thing, always being happy and think positively. Because if our heart mind and soul is healthy our body will also be healthy to (mens sana in corpore sano)
http://coldplaymusic.co.cc - stunting, on 02/28/2009, -1/+0life style is really important to keep health
- MountainGoatMan, on 02/28/2009, -1/+0http://www.murdzplace.com/CNN.htm
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -3/+1I'm not a dude.
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -7/+4wtf..Organic is always healthier, who is writing about "green" except you? two different issues. However if you would like to write about "Green Living" or etc. I can as well.
- thcobbs, on 02/28/2009, -6/+2Organic is NOT always healthier:
Organic plants are much more susceptible to toxins, fungi, and bacteria.
I personally buy organic... because I like the quality of the produce. But NEVER assume that what comes from nature is good for us.
