Tomorrow's headline - Adult Sudden Death Syndrome is hereditary - n8r0n, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17Really? I thought it was a crink in the neck that killed him.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Whats China's definition of "corruption"? Supporting human rights and civil liberties? The Chinese should be ashamed of their government.

- jlebrech, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10I used to be a Hitman, but now all because of this political correctness gone crazy I've had to change my job title to "Adult Sudden Death Syndrome Expert".

Use your own judgment whether or not there's a cover up involved... but if it was a cover up, I'd think the Chinese could come up with something better than this. - unloud, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Welcome to the jungle. We got fun 'n' games. . .

You mean something like: "He fell down some stairs?"
As with any kind of abuse the hubris of the agressor is quite often under-estimated. - Philluminati, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5***** hell, every article!
12,000 diggs in 1 day for ***** sake....we saw it! - matthewmok, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Yeah, I think Milosevic also died of ASDS as well as Djordje Djukic, Simo Drljaca, Milan Babic. It happens all the time.
- unloud, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Um, no, that would be a chink in the neck. . .
- vertinox, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Actually, from my understanding the penalty for bribery/corruption in China is the death penalty.
Secondly, if they carry out the death penalty they could send the family the bill for the execution.
So unless he had evidence they wanted to cover up... There would be no need to kill him like this since they can't send the bill now. - Authustian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4and also contagious, one need only speak with an infected person to contract symptoms....
- Sixcolors, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I'm sure their government feels the same way about everybody else's.

- alpha94, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Well they have to be concerned with their international picture now since the olympics are coming. Which in my opinion is just crazy to be having the games there. Talk about irony.
- mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Thats just awful! And it happened while he was in prison you say? What are the chances?!!!
- crawfishsoul, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8While I'm not saying this guy didn't die of questionable causes, SADS is in a newly discovered problem that is gaining awareness amongst UK doctors and slowly gaining awareness in the US. SADS is scary stuff. My mother died suddenly of catastrophic heart failure 10 years ago. While there was no damage to her heart and no previous medical causes for such an attack, and she was only 43 & in good health, the medical examiner was not able to give us an exact cause of death.
Some forms of SADS are considered genetic and there are tests to find out if you are at risk. I'm hoping they start learning more about this quickly...
http://www.sads.org.uk/ - edm1950, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I dunno call me a traditionalist, but state victims slipping on a banana peel and falling down stairs to their deaths seemed to have more panache.
- mrfish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Apparently the number of cases of ASD has risen in China by 100% over the past year!
- idonthack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Just say it. He got ninja'd

- defaultprophet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Poor guy died from case of the SADS. Little known fact, sads is what happens when you don't treat a severe case of the Mondays. Kinda like how if you don't treat syphilis, it turn your nervous system to goo.
- fangfufu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2both articles are similar, the newer one has more cover up.
