Illegal Immigrant in a Coma Set to Be Deported By Hospital

blogs.wsj.com — A Chicago hospital is preparing to send a 30-year-old patient back to Mexico. Francisco Pantaleon, who is in this country illegally, had a brain hemorrhage last month and is in a coma at the University of Illinois Medical Center.The hospital says his family consents to returning him to his home country, but Phis sister has hired a lawyer to fight.

  • inactive, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2She hired a lawyer to fight the hospital and force the taxpayers to pay for the cost of treatment for her illegal alien brother? The 16% of people in the United States without health care would be dropped just like this guy.

    If he does get treatment, it would set a terrible precedent; That we treat illegal aliens better than our own citizens when it comes to receiving emergency health care.
