Wow what a concept all of of your private data in your hands and not that of the state. The problem is everyone is way to lazy too do it, and in the process by giving up their data to a third party they forfeit privacy.

It is not necessarily a bad thing, but Google is becoming Wal-mart of the online world and eventually govt. authorities may have to step for consumer rights. Remember what EU did to Microsoft.
