Many surgeons use slogans like "the only surgeon approved by the Medical Lasik Board of New York" or "the only surgeon to use cold blue laser technology." Most of these claims are gimmicks. Do some research on what they're claiming. The best place to get the procedure is in the doctor's own office, where all the conditions are controlled by the doctor himself instead of a separate company. Most doctors practice in laser eye centers that are used by many different doctors and are usually in a state of disrepair. Last of all don't worry about the procedure. It's fast, easy, and usually pain free. Seriously.
