  • irishnewyorican, on 10/22/2008, -0/+0Yes the article is over a year old. However in my little patch of the world it hits home. I am 60+ and my son is 10 weeks old. What a miracle. Yes I have older children. The reason for this child is just as complicated as Love.
    The pros and cons, the comments positive as well as negative all add up to zero when I look into his eyes and he smiles at me (it may be gas). He may not have me for as many years as I'd like to be around but I have promised him I will fill the years we have to the fullest. Soon I plan to actually retire and be a stay at home dad and home school my son. I'd like to hear from other "older dads" about their experiences with a new baby.
