It might work for a while, but his weight loss is going to stop after a few months as his body accustoms itself to using lesser energy.

It helps you log your meals (automatically giving you calories, plus other caterogies like fat, saturated fat, protein, etc.) as well as your exercises. It is so nice to just enter that you had a chicken breasts, and rice and vegetables and have it tell you your caloric intake . (sure, you have to estimate how many ounces you ate, but it is still nice.)
The demo gives you 2 weeks of unrestricted access. To be honest, if you use it every day, that may be all you need to get a feel for what foods you should be cutting back on and what foods you should be eating more. I immediately realized that my choice of snacks were not the best. I shifted more toward pretzels rather than Tositos.

- rice and fruits are full of starch and sugar, they are easy energy sources that your body turns into fat, if anything you should be eating mad seafood and white meat as thats protein and it takes energy to metabolize it making u slimmer
-no snacks: i say eat when and how much not unhealthy, if ur hungry between meals get some fruit instead of cookies and a glass of water instead of juice or pop, eat healthy but eat enough so ur not hungry. If you do not snack your metabolism shuts slows down so u metabolize energy much more slowly.
- gym or home excersise, tone muscle, if u have more muscle it takes energy to sustain it so u wont have a tendency to get fat again as your muscle increases ur energy requirements and youll look better.
Im sure you can loose weight through this stupid diet but majority of the weight you will loose is muscle, not fat. - Wamzlee, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1Nice, I've been doing this type of diet (and it works, in case Common Sense hasn't told you yet), but never laid out a 400-cal meal plan before, may make things much easier since I usually just count the calories.
