  • Goodanswer, on 10/02/2008, -2/+7Actually the Aids Virus was imported from Africa. There really is a monkey that lives there with the title "African green" monkey. A deep jungle monkey that was not easily accessible. They were flown into Philly ILLEGALLY in the mid 1940's by Merck drug company. The reason they did this was to get a monkey specimen that was not tainted by the holding cells where other diseased monkeys were kept. They were supposed to use the tainted ones to make a vaccine for polio but could not get a healthy enough specimen.
    While I know that Youtube is not a great source to back this up, the video is, and its from the "Horses Mouth."

    For evolution, we look to evidence, not what scientists say or think.
