- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15How do you politely tell someone they have bad breath?!
"Hey Dave, your breath is kinda stinking up the car, need a mint dude?" or
"Damn, did someone fart?! Oh, it's your breath dude. Here's a tic tac". - joshpowell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I usually just ask "Wanna mint?" (or piece of gum).... if they refuse I keep insisting until they take it.
- TheKillDoctor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13I just ask the person "Who sh!t in your mouth?"
- kaffein, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12But the only vegetable I like is garlic.
- mtvkilledusall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Never refuse a breath-freshening item.

Goodness. - silverchrysalis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9my husband has also suffered from bad breath for years- really a turn-off. he's brushed, flossed, eaten well, scraped his tongue, etc. we finally realized that it was coming from his STOMACH, not his mouth. went to the health food store and bought liquid chlorophyll. works great. two tablespoons and not only is his breath completely neutral, he now has better digestion! try it.
- themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Try garlic and onions. They always work.
- enbrock, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6dang, whatever happened to just brushing your teeth twice a day?
- kuhllax24, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I had to login and comment on this, although I'm swamped at work.
Let me just get this out in the open right now: I am obsessed with garlic. I cook with it almost daily.
I moved to Germany last September, and discovered that their garlic over here is much stronger than in the States. Thinking I could cook with a couple of cloves and no one would notice like back home, I was sorely disappointed when my colleagues kept commenting on how I stunk. And yes, I brush my teeth (and tongue) twice daily whilst taking a shower.
My boss took me aside one day and told me that I should consider getting Cholorphyll capsules; he said that jogurt and the other stuff is crap and doesn't work.
I did some research, and apparently Chlorophyll is the best substance for removing the noxious sulfur in garlic. In Germany the best seller is Stozzon. I went out and purchased them last week, and guess what, everyone said that the smell is gone. The stuff actually works.
Here's the link to Stozzon. I don't know if they market their tablets in the U.S.
http://www.queisser.de/stozzon/index.html - SteelChicken, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4get rid of sugar in your diet!
the bacteria in your mouth use sugar as fuel...the more sugar, the more the bacteria grow, the more bacteria poop they make, the more your teeth rot, the more your breath stinks.
avoid sugars!!!!
and use some damn listerine once in a while, heathen! - ichoudhury, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3perhaps you need to check out your GUM. A lot of time, people, brush, uses mouthwash, chew gum and so on, but the problem might lie inside stomach and gas that passes through your mouth causes that stink breath. Often this mistake is made by dog owners who can't figure out why their puppy's breath stink so bad, and continue to feed it table scraps (which causes stomach problem and bad breath as a result).
- rspeed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well damn, my breath must be great because I eat most of the stuff on that list on a regular basis.
But then again, I also eat a lot of crappy food and I'm addicted to onions and garlic. :3 - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Man, your stomach juices really stink Peter! Can't you do something about that?!"
- mykami, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2watch out for the sugerless gum - could give you gas! so which is worse?
- chicbicyclist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3yogurt. out of the list, it's the most effective and the one that makes sense the most. the lactobacilli competes with undesirable and offensive bacilli, both in your mouth and tummy. plus, i notice that my farts smell nicer.us
- bushface, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"cirque de soleil" "active CULTURE"? isnt "cirque" just a load of carnies wearing leotards in a tent full of animal *****?
- brklynmark, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Digg's really hurting for content today...

Gas is awesome! Come on! At least that smell goes away after you open a window or something. - chas46, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1 Get some active culture......good turn of phrase

http://www.chasr.org/ - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Another way to fight halitosis is to brush and floss daily. Periodontitis is a typical cause of halitosis (besides loose teeth and shrinking gums) and is one affliction that with treatment and proper oral hygiene, is preventable.
- bdkosher, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You can also mitigate bad breath by not letting a rat crawl into your mouth and die.

DIGG just for saying "i notice that my farts smell nicer" LMMFAO - ben27, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i never knew that chewing gum masks bad breath. BREAKING NEWS
- AlanHolcome, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I don't have a breath problem but My butt smells like crap.
- johnjackrich, on 11/27/2008, -0/+0This is a really good article. If you want to use a mouthwash, then make sure it does not contain any alcohol. Alcohol can make your mouth dry and worsen your breath. http://www.badbreathsolutionguide.com
- SirGunslinger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0The bad breath is caused by to many people speaking with their ass instead of their mouth. They need mints in suppository form.
- Cameleopard, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Have you ever put a cardamom pod in your mouth? It's insanely intense or intensely insane. Brooke Shields says Colgate Total fights the germs that cause bad breath.
- fredrated, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I find lots of raw garlic cures my bad breath.
- datastorageguy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Beer is bacteria poop too you bastard. Put the listerine down and slowly step away from my brew.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0@over90: It is important to defecate at least once a year. Otherwise it all backs up.
- CzescToJa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Having healthy teeth, and brushing regularly is the only way to get good breath.
- rocor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0There was an article in the April 2002 issue of Scientific American about the causes of bad breath. The conclusion reached being that most causes of bad breath are due to a dry mouth allowing bacteria to accumulate at the back of the tongue and their secretions being the cause of bad breathe.

- r3bol, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Ladies, a swallow of semen will keep your breath fresh for up to 24 hours and help you loose weight (only as part of a calorie controlled diet).
- haggie, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3eat healthy, brush your teeth, floss. problem solved. i'm a friggin' genius.
while you're at it, hit the shower daily too.
who knows, you might be able to rid yourself of that pesky virginity you just can't seem to get rid of... - Ecco2, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1@SteelChicken
"bacteria poop"... come on ! - snypa, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1OT but is it me or does msn not allow links to be opened in tabs? (using scroll wheel button click)
- Wisely, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I wonder how much it costs the author to rid/prevent bad breath a month?
For me, it's just 5 bucks. haha! - neutralmind, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0@adsoftheworld
stop posting pictures of your mouth. it creeps me out. - MacSuxWindozSux, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1How about a portrait of you pointing back at the camera. For emphasis. And sheer suicide.
