- MicheleB6, on 08/03/2008, -0/+0Good for the author! I wish her all the best on this weight loss journey. I have a feeling that she'll enjoy incorporating fitness into her life, especially being a former dancer! It's not easy to do, but weight aside, it sets a wonderful example for the kids!
- Kerrieann, on 08/01/2008, -0/+0Being a mom is hard. Being a mom with a weight loss goal is even harder. Being a mom who used to be skinny and now has a life that is not only her own (no more jumping to the gym at a moment's notice) is probably the hardest. She has a nice voice to her admission and appeals to many women out there.
- TriMom73, on 08/01/2008, -0/+0I admire her honesty! It's great to see a woman writing about the struggles of staying thin in our culture. It's such a paradox. We are pushed to be rail thin like models, but given crazy-giant sized portions and fast food is on every corner!
- str1, on 08/01/2008, -0/+0I like the realistic view of how difficult it is to lose weight, and especially the difficulty to balance daily life with that goal. It is hard. I think it is much easier to prevent weight gain, than to lose the pounds later, but hindsight is always 20/20.
