- lovestospooge, on 05/25/2009, -0/+17it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the inhaler again
- _skin_, on 05/25/2009, -0/+15Eczema ***** SUCKS! I am all healthy and *****... except I got dry skin like a mother!
- Rahaz, on 05/25/2009, -1/+9I've had really bad eczema since I was born. Never had asthma though. Didn't even know I almost had a higher chance of having it.
- atlasdugged, on 05/24/2009, -0/+6Oh great, I'm itchy and I cannot breathe.
- Systembomber, on 05/25/2009, -0/+5Eczema ***** sucks. I've had it since I can remember (I am 19) and only recently have I nearly broken the cycle of getting bad Eczema. It is nowhere near as bad as it used to be. It can make you really self concious and is not nice at all. What really sorted it out a lot for me was Light Therapy. It is like a stand up sun bed using certain UV rays and really helps a lot. Since then I have been able to manage the Eczema 100 times better than before.
- CrimsonFate, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3I have eczema and asthma. From what I've always been told, asthma is an allergic reaction in the throat that causes the passageways to swell up and constrict breathing. It would only make sense given that eczema seems like a skin-based reaction.
- Torx, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Yep, its barely summer time and im already breaking out into rashes.. and im 27 years old. While ive had spontaneous pneumothorax on one lung, i haven't developed asthma. Its a weird link though.
- Gryffydd, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2They rhyme?
- silverchrysalis, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Two people in my family have both asthma & excema: myself and my middle daughter. Such a weird combination. None of the other kids or my husband has either condition.
- augustojr, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1well at least we know why now.
- michaelrsa, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1I got lucky in terms of my Eczema, all I have are mild patches on the back of my legs and living in Minnesota, half the year I wear jeans for the cold.
- 3Y3CON, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Well that explains it, I had mild eczema when I was a baby and now I've had asthma as long as I can remember. I'm sure I'm not the only one either
- motbob, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1This is too late for my sister, who developed asthma last year after having eczema all her life :(
- postitnote, on 05/25/2009, -1/+2Sucks to your assmar.
- BossKey, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Not that weird. They're both triggered inflammations that aren't supposed to be happening.
- lacreme, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Eczema sucks. A few years ago my balls broke out.
- Nephersir7, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Eczema sucks. Dealing with a stubborn patch of eczema is definitely not something enjoyable. I had a mouth-sized rash that almost lasted a year.on my forearm. :-(
- varchar255, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Same here...I am now feeling extraordinarily thankful.
- martinherrera, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1damn, i had no idea the two were linked like that. my nephew has pretty severe asthma and he had eczema when he was a baby.
- maqikelefant, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Well that's interesting. My younger brother has had eczema for as long as I can remember, and it wasn't until he was like 11 or 12 that he was diagnosed with asthma. I wonder if he or my parents have ever heard anything about this? I'll just have to remember to ask them the next time I see them, I guess...
- douggmc, on 05/25/2009, -3/+3"asthma is an allergic reaction in the throat"?
For god's sakes ... you have access to google and all the "internets"(I assume since you found out how to register and post on digg), yet you don't even know the basics about your disease? Hell, when the doctor tells me I have common, minor, temporary condition (e.g., a sinus infection) ... I go home and google it right away. - jhochberg, on 05/25/2009, -2/+2Perfect! I love it!
- twiztidsinz, on 05/25/2009, -2/+1I dunno about yours, but my mother uses lotion.
(Please no lotion/skin/hose jokes)
