A few years later they both had lost a ton of weight and looked terrible. It's much more attractive to see a healthy weight than a super skinny weight.

    I find these super skinny models repulsive. But I guess as a man they are not advertising to me. They are going after women. Their mistake though is that the vast majority of their target doesnt look like that.

    If those in fashion industry where threatened with charges of endangerment or in worst cases accessories to manslaugter perhaps the way models are treated would be more realistic.
    Self image is shaped from an early age and since the media ie teen mags are at the front of these perhaps it should be pressed on them to be charged if they do not take a more responsible role in what they present to kids...

Now, of course, you're going to have the designers that want to hold on to the old style, but I've been reading more and more designers want their models to be healthy. I belive the Parisian government is even getting involved in this issue.
