- sokz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Every few months I'll read about dust mites just to torture myself to the point where I cannot sleep in my bed for a night or two. I know I always sleep amongst them, but it's easy to forget. Tonight I'll probably sleep on the wood floor.
- theenginedriver, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Ahaha I had that situation for some years, because it was determined early in my life that I am allergic to dust mite excrement. Sounds like it may not be precisely an allergy after all, but rather a synergistic effect with other allergens. Good to know. In my case, it was actually so bad that my ear drums were under extreme pressure, and I had to have tubes installed to release the pressure. Also, they got rid of my adenoids, but I wasn't using them anyway.

OD on like 6 tablets and then take another4 in the morning then 3 then 2 and then go to the suggested 1 at night and 1 in the morning. It's like night and day man. Seriously.
My face is usually in constant pain because of the acne I have, pus, skin flaking, more pus, ingrown hairs with pimples etc. Not consuming dairy has also stopped large 3 skin layers deep cis's from forming but nature's cure is the only thing that wipes pimples out.
Taking it at the normal dose takes forever and really doesn't work for me, but when I take lik 3 or more the effects are drastic and happen within an hour. Imagine going from red and puffy and in pain and ugly to calm and thin skinned and handsome in 4 hours?

Combine that with years of breathing in the chemicals that are contained within all these cleaning products/plastics and it comes as no surprise that asthma rates are climbing up too.
I'm not saying live in a dirty house, but excessive cleanliness really is countrproductive.

I would like to do that if I can since I am pretty sure I have that same problem and also if I have children I would like to know how to prevent then from having to have this horrible ailment into their adult years. Seriously my acne is so painful and I got it from my dad it almost makes me want to not have children and inflict this on them.
The modern world is filled with dust mites and my skin is from the days when my people swam in the ocean every day. So is my hair, lol, it looks awesome only when it's dried out, bleached and dreaded by the surfer lifestyle.

Well, its not really plastic. In the old days they were plastic-like, but these days you can get mattress/pillow covers in cloth-like materials. Check out this site if you need them:
