Yes, there are a lot of boob jobs that are terrible and this is why you often here guys complaining about fake boobs. Let's face it, for every one epic boob job there are ten that are terrible.
Thing is, there are amazing boob jobs that guys don't even know the boobs are fake. If a boob job is done properly, but someone not trying to get a deal on her boobs and she pays the proper prices etc, often the boobs can come out with spectacular results.
Saline is a mistake with it comes to boob, the new 'best' choice is a silicone 'gummy' as it gives a teardrop shape and it doesn't look bolted on. They feel the same after the drop/fluff period has passed (2-4 months, where the boob is settling into the pocket the surgeon has made and the muscle is relaxing).
Women with boobs is like guys with their arms. Most guys would like bigger more defined biceps, but we can hit the gym and eat properly to fix that issue. Women can't. I do think it's not something to be taken lightly, and it should be thought about for 1-2 years at least prior.
I have dated girls that were natural, I have dated girls that were fake. The only difference really was the confidence (on average) with which the girls carried themselves.
That breast cancer bit dsmx said is not true by the way. Breast implants go under the fleshy part of the breast, elevating what the girl had forward. Women are very much able to do exams and get examined by a doctor. I know this because a friend just had hers checked last week, same as any other breast.
