- superm401, on 01/09/2009, -0/+15"This newspaper has recently learned that whistle-blower Nathan Bellows has collected a mountain of evidence outlining years of blackmail and corruption on the part of R&F. Evidence, Bellows said, he plans to leak to 12 major media outlets later this week.
Bellows lives at 138 Juniper St., Apt. 3H, Folsom, LA, 70437. He goes jogging every morning around the nearby reservoir and is always alone."
Doesn't really fit well with the rest of the article, but fairly funny in its own right. - carpespasm, on 01/10/2009, -1/+16people who read The Onion and don't realize it?
- Ades, on 01/10/2009, -1/+14who the hell goes to the doctor if they have a common cold?
- mrsteveman1, on 01/10/2009, -0/+13People who demand antibiotics for everything.....
- MrCrumbles, on 01/09/2009, -1/+13"What began as a small-scale racket has today grown into a multinational organization, with billions of dollars devoted each year to pushing its pro-napping, broth-focused agenda."
- inactive, on 01/10/2009, -0/+8You bastard Onion you got me again.
- hidetheice, on 01/10/2009, -1/+9I almost always recognize onion articles immediately, but it took me about a quarter of the article to get this one.
- NJank, on 01/10/2009, -0/+6boo for acai berry spam. i get enough of you on facebook.
- JohnFlux, on 01/10/2009, -0/+6Right. There were no diseases at all in the old days. The only people who caught the spanish flu and the black plague were those who eat processed foods from a tin.
And screw those big drug companies. Next time I get seriously ill, I won't touch their medicines. - thebarrytone, on 01/10/2009, -0/+4ha ha...taint
- jgzman, on 01/10/2009, -0/+4I recognize The Onion by way of the logo at the top of the page. Alternately, the little TLD note right under the link.
I do make a point, however, of guessing onion or not while still in my RSS reader. - fittysix, on 01/10/2009, -0/+4The onion is a very reliable news source, they've reported on many things long before the mainstreams:

- roebeet, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2Big Rest and Fluids.... another front for Destructotech, Ltd.
- ajamer, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2a LOT of people show up in the emergency department saying they have pneumonia and need antibiotics, when in fact, they just have a viral cold

- kakarot1232001, on 01/10/2009, -0/+1hahah, I thought it was real. Until it started to make no sense. Like 3rd paragraph.
- marytormey, on 05/29/2009, -0/+1People who listen to every over inflated warning they see on the news. My left arm is kind of numb, I must be having a heart attack.
- nedev, on 01/10/2009, -1/+2That's from the article! Good job! You just earned yourself a sticker.
- KarthVader, on 01/10/2009, -0/+1When I got colds as a kid, a technique to break up congestion was used quite often in my house:
Boil a pot of water and add 2-3 tea spoonfuls of Vick's vapo-rub.
Then, using a blanket, cover yourself and your hot water/Vick's mixture, while stirring the mixture with a metal fork.
Breathe in vapors. Be careful not to knock over your mixture.
60% of the time, it worked all the time.
BTW, I ***** hate colds. Most annoying way to be sick. No cure, except to sit, drink liquids and be miserable! - uncertain, on 01/10/2009, -0/+1"A few corrupt senators"
Who are they kidding? - pbostley, on 01/10/2009, -0/+1Dugg for taint...
- HappyScrappy, on 01/10/2009, -0/+1Big Rest and Fluids has me in their thrall right now. Stupid cold.
