- smackhero, on 10/10/2007, -1/+89cool post, but what the hell is up with the description? "Well that is not eyes - some were feared"--what does that even mean? did you use some online translation tool or something?
- smackhero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+80well, you have a good excuse. some english-speaking diggers still have trouble forming coherent sentences. =P

- therumfoodle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13I was denied entrance into a math class in highschool because the teacher was freaked out by my contacts. I had a white one in one eye and a black and white spiral in the other. It ended up being for the best, the teacher was a bitch, and there was a better math class that I got into after.
I got mine through my eye doctor. But the ones on this site look like the ones that were being sold by the companies that were making ***** quality ones that ended up giving people infections. If you want to get designer contacts, get it through your eye doctor. - tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -1/+10A friend's brother at my school had to take his contacts out because they were freaking out the other kids..
Those would fun to wear during a sporting event. - melat0nin, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Google translate is rubbish. Good on him/her for making the effort without it, even if it was inaccurate
- mineworker, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9You want a penis in your eye?

- melat0nin, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7am I the only one who finds most of these really scary? :/
- Error601, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Do places still sell those? I remember stores getting sued when people got infections and eye damage from lenses that didn't fit and lack of proper instruction on how to use them.
- DeskFlyer, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7lol @ the shark teeth one
- CubiX, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Must have the 'sharingan' ones!
http://artsdesignblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/cool-lenses-15.jpg - Sawta, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Description translation: "Some of these were crazy! I didn't know that they could do that with contact lenses. Some of them really freaked me out!"
- openyoureyes17, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5you're right, $330 for a pair of lenses is much more shocking than someones eyes eating my face.
- AndrewDB, on 01/10/2008, -1/+5Take Wild Eyes off your bookmarks.. I'm the son of an eye doctor and they're over-priced hunks of plastic. They can seriously ***** your eyes up.
- EBFoxbat, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Here's mine: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/photoshop/
- HaltingPoint, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Its a hasty description by a spammer trying to get his blogspam on the front page. If you scroll down in the comments here you'll see Expert01 has kindly posted the links to the actual sites you can buy them on. Please bury the story submitters link as blogspam.
- expert01, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4How about http://www.cosplaylab.com/proshop/images/theatrical/t106.jpg or even better the Dune Sclera http://www.vampfangs.com/Dune-Sclera-Lenses-p/dnesclera.htm
- Terr01, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I admit, I thought of that and searched the page. Which do you prefer?

http://artsdesignblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/cool-lenses-37.jpg - redbone, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Actually, I think that's a reference to The Corinthian, from the Sandman comics.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corinthian_(comics) - gijoel, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4The spice must flow.
- soulpiercer7, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4The Hyuga clan's and the Uchiha clan's eyes from Naruto. pretty cool. I wonder if they give you any special abilities...
Sharingon! - FreedomSpanker, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3That's right you just Opti-Grab it!
- sinurgy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2A lot of places sell them but there are a lot more restrictions now. I bought some back in the day that were glow in the dark prescription lenses and I didn't have to give Dr. info. Speaking of which, I don't think they sell the glow in the dark ones in prescription anymore which sucks because you want to talk about a trippy look!!!
@expert01 - great list! - 3vno, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2i want pitch black eyes. lol
- 0crabby0, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Down...Lens site too hard to see
- SanjayM, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Nope, they be real, they are called sceleral lenses cover the whole white of the eye, uncomfortable and a bitch to get in.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scleral_lens - LacY, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Not to mention how freaking hard it is to see through some of them. A friend worked at an optician and got lots of free samples of these, that we'd try out. There were some fun ones, like flames or cats eyes, but they are pretty difficult to see out of.
- hasansexy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yes they are possible, remember that Jim Carrey movie The Grinch that Ruined Christmas(or somthing like that), he had full eye contacts in.
http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/thumb/9/90/200px-Thegrinchjimcarrey.jpg - Dankenbring, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2sharingan from naruto and hollow eyes from bleach! thats sick!
- unjustend, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Still, that one has my vote for "Creepiest". Not exactly sure why, but that one creeps me out a bit.
- t0ken, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4umm... click on the BUY button?
- shutz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Read up before you comment. The lenses that cover more than the iris are called "Sclera" lenses. These do exist, they're obviously harder to put on and take off, but they're even creepier than regular lenses.
I can't comment on the fact that some of these might still be photoshopped, but they do offer each of these lenses for sale, so at the worst, the actual lenses might not look as perfect as the pics show, but they should look close enough. - Flower2112, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3IIRC, it was the Corinthian.
- binderskagnaes, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I'm waiting for the ones with the Apple logo on them
- JoeBlotto, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3*most
- mikochu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Back in high school (6-7 years ago, sheesh!), a friend of mine used to have a pair of "whiteout" contact lenses. They covered everything but the pupil. It looked pretty freaky...
As for being fake, the pictures look photoshopped. However, I've seen contact lenses that cover most of the exposed eye. Ever watch the making of Michael Jackson's Thriller? They put yellow contact lenses that make his eyes completely yellow. - Bahimiron, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Not a fan of the Corinthian?
- OwdenBowden, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Donka
- Vo0Ds, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1"He's got the eye of the Jew!"
Some of those are cool, but most are crappy photoshops :S - DJPhoenix, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Not quite, these lenses are real and have been available for quite some time. Some are rather expensive. I remember looking at these exact lenses a few years ago for Halloween.
- soulpiercer7, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I noticed that too! 9 up from the bottom on the left!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2What's with the shark teeth lens? Is that real?
- openyoureyes17, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1yeah..i forgot to add the /sarcasm
- heyitsgarrett, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Okay, now that's just ***** up.
