- SgtAl, on 12/23/2008, -1/+6I dont think you read the article before you posted this. Nice one though, I like the fact that psychiatrists plan on teaching the general public about proper mental health care and the dangers of cults like scientology.
- no12u, on 12/23/2008, -1/+4I hope people read this article. It shows the psychiatric community is concerned with quality care for it's customers. It also shows that that they are aware of the litigious, self serving cult of Scientology who are only interested in fattening the purses of David Miscavige in exchange for bogus OT levels.
Education = End Of Menacing Cult - babalonanon, on 12/23/2008, -1/+4Your title is very misleading. This article is old but good, thank you. The writer is a psychiatrist who promotes patient-centred care and who is concerned that it be not only affordable but simply available without question of finances to those in need.
As you appear to be a Scientologist who is promoting your front group CCHR and it's devotion to the "obliteration of psychiatry"; I am surprised you posted this. Did you actually read it?
Quoted:
"Which kind of health care system will offer the future we want: a system that doesn't force us to ask about insurance coverage before we ask about symptoms, a system that doesn't discriminate against our patients, a system that respects their privacy, a system that pays us fairly and promptly, a system that spends our money not on obstacles to medical care, but on medical care."
Sounds good (and fair) to me.
