- eviscerator, on 06/24/2009, -0/+34I'm 24, and my hair is slowly getting thinner and thinner in the forehead region. If this were true, it would be totally awesome. I'd like to see some long term tests before getting anywhere near this "treatment" though.
- fireinbergen, on 06/24/2009, -1/+33"I'm getting Botox on my balls to get these wrinkles out. Finally have these smooth as eggs."
- undervalued, on 06/24/2009, -1/+27This could be just in time for me, not all hair gone yet but getting there very quickly, and I'm not even 30 :,(
- poonjob, on 06/24/2009, -1/+17Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase jebus make this real!
- dikky, on 06/24/2009, -0/+14dude i started losing at 19 so I think I have it the worst here.
but I can pull off the bald look so it's not a life changing experience for me - shutaro, on 06/23/2009, -0/+8Surprise! I can't feel my scalp!
- poonjob, on 06/24/2009, -2/+9pretty big market since EVERY ***** MALE HUMAN BEING LOSES HAIR.
/retard - daze144, on 06/24/2009, -0/+7What better to inject yourself with, than the most deadly toxin known to man!
- RunDiggMC, on 06/23/2009, -0/+6It's the cure for emoting, too.
- LukeBeaumont, on 06/24/2009, -0/+6Propecia has some nasty side effects. Not totally common, but nasty side effects nonetheless. What the the point of hair if you suffer from erectile dysfunction?
- syntheticfth, on 06/24/2009, -1/+6Suffer no more! Now all you have to do is inject botulism directly into your head cm from your brain, say goodbye to side-effects forever!

- hugg, on 06/24/2009, -0/+3Botox for hair loss is a concept that's been around a while. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to pan out too well:
http://tressless.com/2007/11/20/botoxing-your-scal ... - TwwIX, on 06/24/2009, -1/+4Will it get rid of my ass hair?
- zlib, on 06/24/2009, -1/+3Good, these Propecia tablets are doing bad things to my body.
- draculthemad, on 06/24/2009, -1/+3"*If* his claims are proved in formal scientific trials it could potentially be used as the basis for new treatments for baldness. "
emphasis mine.
This is one guy who happens to be a cosmetic surgeon who offers botox as a service with anecdotal evidence only so far. - taikyokuken, on 06/24/2009, -1/+3"The theory is that by dilating blood vessels, Botox, a relaxant, allows nutrients into shrunk follicles by dilating the blood vessels." ...Was the author drunk when they wrote this?
- inactive, on 06/24/2009, -2/+4this is a load of *****. propecia works
in the article it talks about how it "appeared to help" grow back hair in a women who had chemo. this is not a treatment for male pattern baldness - hfactor, on 06/24/2009, -1/+3Propecia did exactly zero for me... No side effects, but no main effects either.
- sobri, on 06/24/2009, -2/+4If you're not already using Propecia/Proscar, get on it. New therapies are all good if they happen, but in the meantime the hair you lose is very, very, very hard to get back. So stop is falling out now.
- inactive, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1***** off
- poonjob, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1apparently no one has heard the dave chappelle stand up and just dugg me down hahaha
- zunipus, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1If used properly, Botox is a cure for life.
Make Darwin happy.
Use Botox daily.
Simply inject into already dead areas of the brain...
Seriously: "Botulin toxin is one of the most powerful known toxins"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botulism - nsemedia, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1I asked a trusted cosmetic surgeon about this and here's exactly what he said, "Not a reasonable use for BOTOX!". Be careful to do your homework even when it comes to non-invasive cosmetic procedures. If you have questions you might consider asking surgeons like Dr. Robert Shumway, Dr. Drew Kreegel, or even Dr. Craig Hobar... All very trustworthy and accomplished cosmetic surgeons.
- Lewie, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1lol @ the diagram!
- CNAIF, on 06/24/2009, -1/+2I do like my Dad, raise my middle finger to everyone and comb it straight back, if it falls out who gives a *****. My hair or lack of isn't me. I pity you poor insecure vanity driven she men.
- inactive, on 06/24/2009, -1/+2I want something that can induce localized baldness.
No more pubes in the Zipper. No more Mr Cotter staring at me in the mirror. She can do what she likes and no more frikken nose hairs. - inactive, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1Wouldn't you get a big fat puffy head?
- bobdole369, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1If only they could make this work to cure grey hair. I'm 30 and it's become a whole lot worse than just "highlights". I'm noticing patches of grey now.
- darkened, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1Does anyone else think it's pretty funny how one of the most deadliest bacteria in the world has now basically became a super drug?
- mikebritton, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1Maybe if I Botox my scalp enough, I can look like a lion!
- avshanbh, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1I hope it's for real.
- thegrizz51, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1They can market it as Dimoxinil
- sporkmonger, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1And if Rogaine doesn't work for you, the OTC anti-fungal shampoo Nizoral, while not actually meant for treating hair loss, has been shown to have roughly identical efficacy to Minoxidil. There is also significant evidence that hair loss is strongly correlated with sedentary lifestyles.
- diggduggDOOM, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1Hair dye is relatively cheap and is less risky than injecting yourself with toxins.
- avshanbh, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1No..it'll just make it numb and limp.
- darkhero, on 06/24/2009, -0/+1I am in my early 20s and slowly loosing my hair. I bought the generic rogain on amazon all my hair grew back. It i only 25 dollars for 6 months treatment.
http://www.amazon.com/Minoxidil-5%25-Extra-Strengt ... - AndrewSnook, on 06/24/2009, -0/+0***** off X 2
- NotFake, on 06/24/2009, -2/+2I've got you beat. I'm transexual and have major hair loss.
- SpyCatcher, on 06/24/2009, -0/+0Great news for many people.... however I wonder if botox will make my penis bigger.
- coopa, on 06/24/2009, -1/+1Is there anything a bacterial infection can't fix?!
- austroLogi, on 06/24/2009, -2/+2propecia is supposed to stop loss not regrow hair... different concept here
- humanerror, on 06/24/2009, -1/+1Look! Now he's just "body numb"!
- SpyCatcher, on 06/24/2009, -0/+0How do you know that?
- NotFake, on 06/24/2009, -0/+0Laser hair removal. Hurts like a son of a bitch but it gets the job done.
- thegrizz51, on 06/24/2009, -1/+1What, like make more 4-hour boner drugs?
- mort8824, on 06/24/2009, -3/+2If it doens't turn me into a zombie, then I'm still all ears.
F&$% Baldness - austroLogi, on 06/24/2009, -2/+1how long can the regrowth last. I went through a period where I was paranoid of losing my hair cause of when my dad lost it... went past that benchmark with a full head of hair so I'll let it go for another 5 years or so... but in my research it seemed that hair would be a good metaphor for a person. There are chemicals that help it and some that hurt it. Imagine someone who chows down on junk food all day (DHT) but also exercises constantly (vitamins and botox, rogaine, etc). Now eventually all that fast food is going to make you fat and exercising won't help as much. That's why Rogaine's effects wear off after a period of time.
