- gubatron2, on 07/09/2008, -1/+22so smoking pot is good for acne, dry skin or skin tumors?
- motafett, on 07/09/2008, -0/+19Endocannabinoids are also found in breast milk.

- abovegod, on 07/10/2008, -0/+9So what? My body also creates huge ***** piles.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -1/+10Interesting that THC like analogs are on our skin and in our brain. What else could possibly be next?
- andreegal, on 07/09/2008, -1/+10I just knew this plant and I had something in common!!
- waydee, on 07/10/2008, -0/+8THC also serves an important purpose in the Cannabis plant as UV protection, perhaps this human endocannabinoid has a similar role.
- vexingmodstwo, on 07/10/2008, -1/+8You can stop licking your arms now...
- richnojutsu, on 07/10/2008, -0/+7I took that for about a week when I was a teenager. Dried out my nose so much I'd wake up in the middle of the night with it bleeding. Stay off that *****!
- mikeophile, on 07/10/2008, -1/+8It puts the lotion on it's skin, or it hits the hose again.

- immranderson, on 07/10/2008, -0/+6Why, today -- because telecom immunity was approved
- elliotys, on 07/10/2008, -0/+6THC is only a weak partial agonist at the cannabinoid receptors. There are many other active compounds/cannabinoids in marijuana that have yet to be identified.
- NinjaPirateDude, on 07/10/2008, -0/+6awesome.
- TruthTeller50, on 07/10/2008, -0/+6ARREST THE BODY! THAT'S POSSESSION!

- freshgrease, on 07/10/2008, -0/+5The government will have to confiscate it...
- atact88, on 07/10/2008, -0/+5This is really nothing. The whole process of life evolved around certain groups of chemicals. This is why, at a chemical level, we share so much in common with plants (and other organisms, down to bacteria). Amino acids, metabolic cycles, DNA, etc. As an example, I personally do research on isoprenoid biosynthesis. Nearly everything on earth uses a limited set of metabolic cycles to make the two exact same chemicals!
Yes, endocannabinoids are chemically similar to THC. This is why THC gets you high. It interferes with the brain's receptors for the natural chemicals, thus changing the chemistry that the brain undergoes. - woofers07, on 07/10/2008, -0/+4as soon as a corporation (DuPont) comes along and makes their own synthetic blend and convinces us it's better for when in all actuality it isn't.
- cambob76, on 07/10/2008, -0/+4Didn't help my acne any, God damnit.

- brownspank, on 07/10/2008, -0/+3Yet another reason to love titties!
- atact88, on 07/11/2008, -0/+3I don't know the answer to that. For a couple of friends of mine, pot acted as a trigger for their development of schizophrenia. This happens with a relatively small percentage of the population though. For the overwhelming majority, it was pretty much harmless, as in my case as many more of my friends.
Some studies have followed people over very long periods of time. They found that, the people still smoking pot 24 years later were a little dumber than those who didn't, but it wasn't by much. In fact, the difference was nearly negligible. - Canadacdn, on 07/10/2008, -0/+3Jenkem?
- Coinspinner, on 07/10/2008, -0/+3OK, here's another reason: Because we have to put up with stupid ***** like phosphor112.

- ricoboy24, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1You seem to know much about marijuana and life forms. So the feeling of my brain undergoing chemical change is O.K. right? Or is the stimulate bad for me? Because i EnJoy blazing a bowl now and then?
I want to read it from a person who has personally studies life?

http://www.acnetreatmentmed.com - GPY26, on 07/10/2008, -2/+1why are there so many repeat stories on the digg front page? it's ok to repeat articles like this once a year, just to keep it in the front of our minds that cannabis is not evil and such (i'm sure it will prove itself not evil many times without repeats, though).. but this was just posted last week.
- phosphor112, on 07/10/2008, -5/+2Hey guys, lets make up more reasons to let people do drugs...
