- AriaStar, on 01/01/2009, -0/+3Our brains use a lot of sugar, which is why schools used to give kids trail mix while taking big tests. When we run low on sugar, our brains' ability to function is one of the first things to go. Our brains need steady sugar rather than spikes here and there.
