- RunDiggMC, on 01/27/2009, -1/+10I think we're all guilty of being sarcastic and cynical at times, but it's nice to read something so uplifting in the middle of a stressful day.
- yeeaauuh, on 01/27/2009, -0/+8Inspiring without being hokey. :)

- DivineMonkey, on 01/28/2009, -0/+7Cool guy, strikes a chord with me since my fiancee has leukemia and basically no immune system which = no transplant =(
It would be cool if everybody lived as if they could die today. - ChileanGoD, on 01/28/2009, -1/+6Once I saw a picture of a guy that beat anorexia. He was so happy he wrote it on a t-shirt.
- FI5HERMAN, on 01/28/2009, -0/+4Congratulations trentmonica, for bringing this inspirational story to us, the world is not all doom and gloom as some will have us believe !!!
- inactive, on 01/28/2009, -0/+4Loving leukemia and hoping to beat the spread.
- inactive, on 01/28/2009, -0/+3you are pathetic
- DaviDTC, on 01/28/2009, -0/+3I did the Team In Training program last year for a cycling event and although I didn't need the help with the training they provide, it was an eye opening experience. I believe this year the Team In Training program will break the $1b donation mark.

I'm glad Jim Chippendale is doing this and I hope he saves some lives.
Dugg. - DivineMonkey, on 01/28/2009, -0/+3Oh she doesn't need any help with positive thinking. The happiest and most positive person i've ever known. I'm not sure she will be able to overcome everything though, no matter how much positive thinking is applied.
Thanks dude. - DirtPile, on 01/28/2009, -2/+5Beating love and hope and spreading leukemia.
- brad016, on 01/28/2009, -0/+3I get it! http://carcino.gen.nz/images/index.php/00b9a680/29 ...
- 0mniscient, on 01/28/2009, -0/+2LOL. I actually thought it was mildly amusing. Not enough to warrant a digg though.
- coldkill3r, on 01/28/2009, -0/+2Ehh...no sorry. No diggs for you.

\_\¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - paranormalinfo, on 01/28/2009, -0/+2I really have a lot to be thankful for, we all are. I made a promise to myself a long time ago that I am going to make a difference in this world in anyway that I can.
- ngmcs8203, on 01/28/2009, -0/+2If she hasn't read it yet, I'd recommend Cancer on $5 (chemo not included). Half of the battle is about positive thinking.
Good luck with the chemo. I know the toll it can take on a family, but Leukemia is a beatable cancer. - kclifford17, on 01/28/2009, -0/+2This made me feel good. My brother is currently going through the same thing. I'm scheduled to go in next month to donate bone marrow for him. Hopefully things go well. He is lucky that I turned out to be a match for him, but many other people are not that lucky. It's very important that more people join the bone marrow registry list. Its very rare to find someone outside of your siblings that do not match your bone marrow.. especially if you are a minority.
If you're interested in donating please go to http://marrow.org - radye, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1good link
- luvhopestrength, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1James' foundation actually does bone marrow drives at music festivals around the US and we have a sponsor called DKMS that will pay for each registration fee. 30,000 people will need matches this year and about 3,000 will find a match. We are trying to remedy that! It is so easy - you just have your cheek swabbed with a Q-tip. Give us a shout if you want to know more about it. We can also arrange a drive in your area. http://www.lovehopestrength.org or info@lovehopestrength.org Thanks for all the diggs!!!!!! Shannon
