- civicsi99, on 07/01/2009, -0/+11no kidding.....My doctor diagnosed me with H1N1 today =(
sore throat started sunday morning and symptoms have gotten worse since. she told me CDC instructed doctors not to test unless admitted to emergency room. she has seen several cases like mine the past week and has tested for strep and regular flu virus and none were positive which leads her to believe it is H1N1. she says most people fight it off naturally w/ their immune system......so if i dont post in the next few days, you guys know what happened =/ - thelab101, on 07/01/2009, -0/+8HI BILLY MAYS HERE TO TELL YOU NO ***** SHERLOCK
- hawkspur, on 07/01/2009, -0/+7Unless you have AIDS or something, you'll be better in a week. Functionally the same as a normal flu.
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -1/+6To summarize - “Where people go, infectious diseases of people will follow.”
Amazing discover! /* rolls eyes */
We need to get these geniuses on the "lost sock in the dryer phenomenon". - shillabus, on 07/01/2009, -1/+437 is old??
- sulthernao, on 07/01/2009, -1/+4There's been close to a million infections in the USA according to a CDC press release. It is a serious health concern. Why are you just dismissing it? No people aren't dying from it, but we should keep watching it. There has been no "hysteria" to speak of.
- sulthernao, on 07/01/2009, -1/+3Yeah, there's a million cases of infection in the USA. It is a serious health problem.
- TobiasParker, on 07/01/2009, -5/+7I am so sick of Swine Flu hysteria. Can we just find the next health craze that is going to kill us all?
- ebcreasoner, on 07/01/2009, -1/+3Wha.....
- hawkspur, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1http://www.twozzok.com/images/madagascar.jpg
- qster, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Madagascar has closed EVERYTHING to prevent the virus spreading
- andymion, on 07/01/2009, -2/+3Can't believe no one has said it yet.
No *****, Sherlock. - inactive, on 07/01/2009, -1/+2I have a serious flu right now, and it's very likely to be swine flu. I hope to get better in less than a week :/ If I don't, I'll have to get to the hospital quickly, and I have no insurance, so I'm gonna pay well for it...
Wish I had this only after universal healthcare - darthom, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1Actually, the six degrees of seperation does a better job, with air traffic patterns making up a part of it.
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -1/+2Thanks for the kind words
- santixx, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Water is wet.
- sulthernao, on 07/01/2009, -1/+2Don't worry, just take normal precautionary measure. Swine flu doesn't seem to be too deadly. Hope you recover soon!
- civicsi99, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1im 29....feeling better today. thanks guys.
- yuanzhoulu, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1But it's true ... especially sweaty girls
- Kriztov, on 07/01/2009, -1/+1I like that movie too, but what does it have to do with Swine Flu, or Flying Pig Syndrome as I now call it?
- ebcreasoner, on 07/01/2009, -1/+1Yes!
- Swivelstick, on 07/01/2009, -1/+1And how many have had other flus and died??
- yuanzhoulu, on 07/01/2009, -1/+1Torrents are for sweaty people.
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -2/+2I am not afraid. I have the traditional medicine of my people: chicken soup, nyquil and sprite.
- maeon3, on 07/01/2009, -1/+1Imagine you mix this H1N1 flu with the slow-killing power of AIDS.
There's your Stephen King novel right there. Get as much food water and guns as you can buy from the supermarket to your house and seal yourself indoors for 3 to 5 years to prevent getting the disease.
Would be funny if a common germ kills off the human species. Nobody sees it coming. It's just some mutation inside one of the 10^80th germs/ viruses out there. - toadshortage, on 07/01/2009, -2/+2Thank you Dr. Obvious.
- rwbrinso, on 06/30/2009, -1/+1Proud to be an American?
- Antz0rz, on 07/01/2009, -1/+1Thats some really intense research
- Cruxer, on 07/01/2009, -0/+0Pandemic 2 > Science
- jayjayjoni, on 07/01/2009, -2/+2The sky is blue.
- hawkspur, on 07/01/2009, -3/+3Obligatory Madagascar reference.
- spearce, on 07/01/2009, -2/+1we're still talking about swine flu?
- sulthernao, on 07/01/2009, -2/+1As long as you are not old, you should be fine. The average age of infection is 12, but the average age of death is 37.
