- MokaPot, on 03/14/2009, -2/+52Am I still on Digg?
- ControlcChris, on 03/14/2009, -9/+36There are no women on this site that are over 40, or any age for that matter
- iammzac, on 03/14/2009, -4/+26This story seems to fit digg's huge demographic of 40+ year old woman diggers.
- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -9/+30How is this on the front page? With 54 diggs too. Are ther really that many old woman on digg who come here for medical advice. Seriously the power user problem hasn't been fixed at all.

digg.com - Kingpin7, on 03/14/2009, -3/+18why am i reading this?
- Daxx22, on 03/14/2009, -1/+15You have to be either a Man, or FBI agent posing as a young girl.
- CityzenInsane, on 03/14/2009, -1/+11Simple...Forward to mom.
Even diggers have moms guys. - Jennica, on 03/14/2009, -1/+11Not true.
- patkheard, on 03/14/2009, -0/+9Meh. There are more of us computer geeks who are over 40 and women than you realise. We have to go somewhere to get out Linux fix. Remember computers weren't invented in 1995. I started in this game in 1979.
- Rantipole, on 03/14/2009, -0/+9It's good for Diggers still living in their parents' basements to care about their parents.
- anthony0895, on 03/14/2009, -0/+9It seems we have the same avatar picture.
- Kingpin7, on 03/14/2009, -0/+7well that explains alot...
- TheBlueVulcan, on 03/14/2009, -0/+6Because you're a woman over 40.
- TheHeat, on 03/14/2009, -0/+6I thought the same thing you all posted, but then I realized something - I have a mother, and a grandmother, and I think a lot of other people do too. I read it for my moms sake.
- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -0/+6Well I'm not a woman but I do have women in my life, I read it because lately I've been noticing my mother isn't feeling that well, now I realized she's got 2 of those symptoms persistently but she's too stubborn to see a doctor.
- MissCellania, on 03/14/2009, -0/+5Hey, I'm here! Fifty and female. But I ignore symptoms all the time, because I don't have health insurance.
- Cilicious, on 03/14/2009, -0/+5Some of us are even over 50.
But I have to admit, I was surprised to see this story on the front page. - stutimandal, on 03/14/2009, -1/+5Finally some good piece of info. I was surprised by the blood-clotting one and the onset of asthma after mid-life.
- ScoutzMom, on 03/14/2009, -0/+4I do, too. I am on digg daily and I just turned 40 last week.
- elenaadamscom, on 03/14/2009, -1/+4Are these serious suggestions? Yes, I might have had a stroke because I'm having trouble with words today, but I'm going to go with sleep deprivation instead. Of course it's important for older women to look out for persistent symptoms, but they shouldn't be running to the emergency room every time they get the sniffles.
- CL19, on 03/14/2009, -0/+3I do.
- TSCheredar, on 03/14/2009, -0/+3"Am I still on Digg?" - hahahahahah, exactly what I was thinking.
- Orchid64, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2It only seems like only self-absorbed males under 30 are a part of Digg. The over 40 female crowd just doesn't feel obliged to comment excessively about every piece or troll for attention so you assume they're not a part of the community.
- Suspected, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2Don't worry Lauren, you can't lose something you've never had.
- divinediva, on 03/14/2009, -2/+4The cancer is most often diagnosed in women over 40.
- liuite, on 03/14/2009, -0/+2pain around lower back near kidney; did you know urinary tract infection may lead to a kidney filled w/ kidney stone? don't let UT infection go untreated. add probiotics to your diet!
- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -6/+8can someone come over and feel my man boobs for me
- smemily, on 03/14/2009, -0/+2It fits digg's huge demographic of diggers who still live with their over-40 mom.
- 2of8, on 03/14/2009, -0/+2You fail at reading above comments.
- UNCCEJ1010, on 03/14/2009, -4/+5Does this article have much relevance to the "Digg users" demographic?
- smemily, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1However this list could be printed out by many diggers and taped on the fridge for Mom to see.
- elfprince13, on 03/14/2009, -3/+4That's a blatant lie. There are no girls on the Internet.
- gryphon50, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1you'll change your mind. Somehow you will get over the loss of your alleged hotness.
- VVCephei, on 03/14/2009, -1/+2you mean... 8 websites ALL women ignore.
- PopcornDave, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1No, but we could probably start a fund for your manstectomy.
- cstathis15, on 03/14/2009, -3/+4The media breeds pill-popping hypochondriacs.
- tunafizzle, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1Truly the best story evar to hit the front page of digg.
Best link ever:
http://today.msnbc.msn.com
It manages to cram a ***** morning show, a terrible news network, and a useless search engine all into one url. - patkheard, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1Sorry. Years. Joke.
- Bisquick, on 03/14/2009, -3/+3Apparently, women are surfing the web while men watch NCAA B-Ball.
- Suspected, on 03/15/2009, -1/+1You come to digg to get your Linux fix? You must be new here.
- TrueSecrets, on 03/15/2009, -0/+0Lies.
- inactive, on 03/15/2009, -1/+1they said ignore.. heh heh
- coheedcollapse, on 03/15/2009, -1/+1Could also be titled "8 Ways to keep women over 40 in constant freaking fear due to symptoms that could also probably be something that isn't too serious".
- Pinkertinkle, on 03/14/2009, -2/+1If you have a large adnexal mass which has been expanding over the past few months, don't even worry about it.
- wolfcruise, on 03/15/2009, -1/+0Women and men alike should all start to grasp their health in their own hands. Pills and medication is taking over our lives, and comes with risk. We need to chill, relax, de-stress .. in these stressful times. There are things we can control. Breathe .... start with your health :-)
