- GeeksSpeakFont, on 11/20/2008, -0/+20I'll play video games for my mind...
- beabis, on 11/21/2008, -2/+14Your brain will be a lot better off if you stay away from magazines like Reader's Digest and Parade.
- martinjones, on 11/21/2008, -2/+9When a lion kills the weakest gazelle in the herd, it makes the herd stronger and faster as a unit...alcohol kills the weakest brain cells, thereby making the brain a faster and more efficient machine...that's why you feel smarter after a few beers.
- jggube, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7Brain Challenge has helped me a lot in terms of doing mental math (which sadly I don't do much and immediately go for my computer's calculator).
- sepelester, on 11/21/2008, -0/+650 more ways here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nootropics
- Sornos, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5Video games is a great help. If play a good fast paced strategic shooter, you know how fast your mind can be running. Where your teammates are, where your enemies are, what weapons your team what they have, where they're going, what they think by where you're going, and that little timer counting down to when that weapon respawns. You got all this running through your mind while you're playing.
That's not to say simple games aren't effective. A friend and I used to play a game of Slime Volleyball ( http://oneslime.net/ ) to get pumped before exams. ***** was intense. Came into exams ready to kick ass and chew bubblegum. - asgardshill, on 11/21/2008, -1/+5"Given the right tools, we can train our brains to act like they did when we were younger."
I ran away from home 4 times (making it as far as Ecuador the last time), accidentally set the garage in the family home on fire, solicited donations for Jerry's Kids but spent the money on candy bars and soda pop instead, and was stupid enough to believe my high school guidance counselor when she told me I wasn't "college material". (How I wish I could shove my Masters up her wizened ass today, but she died years ago).
Soooo, no thanks. I really DON'T want my brain to act like it did when I was younger. - jeuhrn, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4But how do I make it BIGGER?
- vic42482, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4It says that nintendo was inspired by brain training software - that's good enough for me. Play Halo and train my brain :)
- saikyan, on 11/21/2008, -0/+48. Give up reading Digg comments.

- shortcircuit13, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4[ it will give people the allusion you are smarter ]
FAIL. - TheInformer, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3You need a girlfriend for that.
- passedoutghost, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3Lemme guess, you're all out of gum?
- passedoutghost, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3Personally I've been taking fish oil capsules. They seem to be working a little. But maybe it's just a placebo.
- k3rfuffl3, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3The problem with conservatives are that they have a limited world view. Not understanding the interconnectedness of small decisions doesn't improve brain function. It kind of makes you more stupid.
- ChoiceMad, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Great way to start a friday...

- GhettoReborn, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Viagra.
- rober7as, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Interesting article, but in my opinion everything that makes you feel good - makes your brain work better. Apart from alcohol, drugs and other crap :)
Personally I have higher levels of concentration after every workout session I've got and I agree 110% with the "Move it" bit ;) - inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+19. stop digging.
- revyn, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2FTA: Older people are better at solving problems, because they have more mental information to draw upon than younger people do. That's why those in their 50s and 60s are sage.
/4chan humor - revyn, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1You were RIGHT! I like students like you! *leans in for a :D and a golf clap*

- DutchSchoolKid, on 12/01/2008, -0/+0I just put myself for a big test every once and a while, just challenge yourself, and don't stop until you have the answer!
- Tophillious, on 11/21/2008, -2/+18. ?????
9. PROFIT - tyfoster, on 11/21/2008, -3/+0WTF why isn't binge drinking on here?
I always assumed that binge drinking killed all the weak brain cells and left the strong ones, leaving your brain that much more efficient - inactive, on 11/21/2008, -11/+61. Smoke
2. Play video games (PC, Console, doesnt ***** matter)
3. Do not watch Fox news
4. Do not watch CNN
5. Drink (To be done immediately should 3 or 4 be broken)
